Англичане немногословны и сдержанны.
Знание культуры речевого поведения в англоязычной среде дает возможность не
только «быть на равных» и разрешить противоречия, но и показать уважение к
собеседнику. Каждый ответ должен быть связан с контекстом, с конкретной фразой,
на которую Вы хотите отреагировать.
Учащиеся могут значительно
пополнить речевой материал разговорными клише и грамматическими структурами.
Учащиеся активно используют полученные знания при
составлении диалогов, в особенности стратегии поддержки собеседника и стратегии
поддержания контакта. Также большой интерес вызывают способы смягчения
высказывания посредством вопросов.
