Perm Academic Theatre-Theatre is as famous as Sergey Diaghilev’s name and Perm animal style. Over 300 specialists work in it. It has modern technical equipment (one of the best in Russia) and a diverse repertoire . The spectators can find dramatic performances and musicals, ballet productions and ambitious theatrical experiments in its bill.  The performances take place on two stages - a large and a small stage ("Molot Stage ").

The Perm Drama Theatre appeared in 1927 on the initiative of the working youth of Perm, which is why it was named TRAM - the theatre of the working youth. It was the first theatre of such a kind in the country and in the Urals.

A special page in the history of the theatre is associated with the name of Ivan Timofeevich Bobylev (an art director in 1967-1969 and 1972-2004), many of whose performances were awarded diplomas of All-Union and All-Russian theatre festivals.

Mark Anatolievich Zakharov, Georgii Ivanovich Burkov, Anna Nikolaevna Shilova started their careers in the theatre. Lidiya Vladimirovna Mosolova has been the theatre’s star for 50 years.

In May 2004 Boris Milgram became the art director of the theatre. The performance "Vladimirskaya Square" based on Dostoevsky's novel Humiliated and the Insulted (Униженные и оскорбленные) was shown at the Xth Festival of Russian Art in Marseille and the II National Festival "The Musical Heart of the Theatre".

In 2018-2019 a great reconstruction of the stage took place in the Theatre-Theatre, and the Perm Theatre became one of the most technically equipped in the country. It is possible to get an infinite number of modifications of the stage with just one touch of the remote control.

Пермский академический Театр-Театр  известен так же как Сергей Дягилев и пермский звериный стиль. Его коллектив состоит более чем из 300 человек. Здесь работают актеры, драматург и  режиссер, сценограф, костюмер, художники по свету и различные технические работники. Сейчас художественным руководителем театра является Борис Мильграм. Также здесь работают композиторы, музыканты и хореографы. В репертуаре театра зритель могут  найти драматические спектакли и мюзиклы, балетные постановки и смелые театральные эксперименты.

Пермский театр драмы появился в 1927 году по инициативе рабочей молодежи Перми, именно поэтому он получил имя ТРАМ – театр рабочей молодежи.

Художественным руководителем театра в 1967-1969 и 1972-2004 был И.Т.Бобылев. В театре начинали М.А.Захаров, Г.И.Бурков, А.Шилова. Пятьдесят лет примой театра была  Л.В.Мосолова.

В мае 2004 художественным руководителем театра стал Борис Мильграм. Спектакль "Владимирская площадь" завоевал несколько зарубежных наград (won several awards abroad).

В 2018-2019 году Театр-Театр стал одним из самых технически оснащённых в стране. Бесконечное количество вариантов модификаций сцены возможно получить одним нажатием кнопки пульта управления.
