What is the main idea of our lesson?
Yes, you are right! Firstly, let’s remember some facts
about British schools.
On your desks you can find a list of paper with a table
which you need to fill in with the correct answers to the questions according
to the video. (приложение1). Let’s watch the video and
write the correct answers. You need to fill in the second column.
Well done, let’s check your answers. Exchange your table
with your classmate’s one.
Correct the answers
Now, lets open your books at p.17 and 18, and remember the
text about schools in England and Wales. I would like you to give the answers
to the one more list of questions given in the table, but now you need to
find the information in the text.
This task you will do in groups.
Let’s check the information. One pupil from the group will
present the answers.
You’ve done a good work. Let’s do some exercises to relax
and have a rest.
We have the third column in our table. Our task is to give
some information about Russian schools and compare them with English ones.
Let’s discuss the facts and complete the table.

Дети, представьте, что мы воздушные шарики (We
are balloons). Сейчас я буду считать, а вы на каждую цифру
делаете глубокий вдох: one, two, three, four- дети делают 4 глубоких вдоха. По команде
«Breath in!» необходимо задержать дыхание. Затем, я буду
считать от 4 до 8, а вы делаете глубокий выдох «Breath out!» — four, five, six, seven, eight.

to make two clusters from this facts about British and Russian schools.
The last tasks for today is to play a game. The fist one
is to guess what subject I am telling about.
And one more task is to join your groups, you have only 1
minute to remember all possible vocabulary of School supplies.

At the end of our lesson I would like you to express your
own opinion about your work at the lesson.
On your desks you have some signs. Raise the thumb up if
you can give a small talk about schools in Britain and Russia, you can use
the vocabulary and etc.
Raise the thumb down if you can’t make the sentences about
schools surely, you need to learn the vocabulary more and etc.
And raise the third sing if you can do most of the work,
but need more time to prepare
