Earth! (Pupils watch the video and listen to the song “It’s a wonderful
world” by Louis Armstrong)
T: We`ll
talk today about ecological problems our Planet faces, about war problems about
ways of solving them. You know, if we can be
active participants in the protection of our environment we can save our Planet
before it`s too late. We`ll work together at our lesson and I`m sure that our
work will be interesting and fruitful. And now, please, read the motto of our
lesson.

WORTH FIGHTING FOR”
/ Ernest Hemingway/

understand this phrase?
S1: Our Planet is our home and we must
take care of it. We must help our Planet Earth to survive.
S2: We must save our Planet for all
people, for all living creatures, for future generations.
S3: We, young people, understand our
great role in solving ecological problems, because everybody wants to see our
Planet clean and beautiful.

of the Universe, but nowadays it`s the only place we can live.

main ecological problems in our life. They are: littering, air pollution, water
pollution, endangered species, destruction of natural resources and others.
People cut down forests, pollute air
and water. They don’t think about their future and about the future of our
planet. There are many endangered species in the world. We just destroy our
future. It is very bad and we mustn’t do it. We must care of our beautiful
nature. We must begin from our houses, streets and towns and do them clean.
People must not cut down forests, pollute air and water. They must stop killing
animals. We must save our Planet.
Speaking P1,
P2, P3, P4 (slides of the presentation)

T: Another global problem is wars,
terrorism and various conflicts. What’s your opinion about them?
S1: Modern wars are dangerous and
threaten the humanity. There are not winners in the war. To my mind people must
not use war as an instrument of policy.
S2: I believe that all people on our
planet must act against wars. We should live as one big family in peace and
love.
S3: If you want to know my opinion, I
think there is nothing worse and more terrible than war. First of all, war is
death, blood, homelessness, diseases, destruction and children’s tears.
S4: I’m sure, war takes away hope,
breaks fate, makes to give up the future and dream, takes away the closest and
dearest people: grandfathers, fathers. Husbands sons, daughters and brothers.
Interview of a journalist Graham Philips with
Donetsk people
( Method “ Microphone”)
Conversation 1
Graham Philips: I’m Graham Philips from England. I’m an English journalist.
May I ask you a question? What do you think about the situation in Donetsk and
Lugansk Republics? Can you speak English or Russian?
The first passer by: English. We are at War, you know. The situation is terrible.
A lot of buildings, hospitals, schools, kindergartens are destroyed by the
Ukrainian Army. People are suffering greatly.
The second passer by: Peaceful people and children are killed in this conflict, the
Civil War. The people of good must stop the War and save our lives.
Conversation 2
Graham Philips: I’m from England, Philips Graham. May I ask you a question?
1st: Hello, Philips. We have heard about you. You do a lot for
Donbass, we know.
Graham Philips: What do you think? How to stop the war in Donetsk and
Lugansk? I love the people of Donbass very much.
2nd: It’s a difficult question. But we are sure, we must do our
best to raise our voice in defense of our land and people. We stand for peace
and understanding with all nations of the world. Thank you, Philips for your
help to Donbass.
Graham Philips: It’s a pleasure. It’s my mission. Thank you.
I love Donbass very much.

S1: (about the Second World War)
I’d like to mention the victims of the Second World War.
65 million people died during the war. 27 million in the
Soviet Union. It was the most dramatic military conflict. It involved 61 states,
3 continents and 4 oceans.
S2: (about war in Donbass)
The War conflict in Donbass is terrible because it is
the Civil War. The victims in Donbass in this war are about 10 thousand people,
162 of them are children. The war in Donbass is not only destroying buildings
and killing peaceful people. It’s also mutilating fates of the children, of all
families. People must do everything possible to stop this horrible war against
the own nation. Let’s say together:
“No war!”, “No war in Donbass!”
T: Dear students! Would you like to show your attitude to urgent problems of
the World? Be active!
All students of the group stand with their slogans, cry out their appeals for saving our Planet.
Clean and green is our
perfect dream!
|
I declare the
world Peace!
No War!
|
Stop the pollution!
|
End the War now!
|
Use what you need only!
|

mistake!
|

S1: We are happy to live in
peace.
We grow up with our
mother’s care
We know so few what scare
is
And luckily we never dare.
Some people want to change
the world
They think it’s their own
They seem to be so cute and
bold
They are pleased to be well-known.
S2: Everything depends on us
Our future and our care
And even the colour of the
grass,
And purity of our air
Thing are the same go East,
or West
All wish to live in Peace.
I know some days I’ll do my
best,
I’m gonna fight for this!
Let us stand in a round dance
Hug our Planet with our hands
We’ll dispel over it overcast
Never giving it any offense!!!
The poem about tasty warm bread

Tasty bread so warm and nice.
The children sing a song, holding hands “May
there always be sunshine” (video of the song)

By all the means you can,
In all the ways you can,
In all the places you can,
At all the time you can,
To all the people you can,
As long as ever you can.
Guests are taking the floor.
