The aims of the lesson






  • Presentation of the First Conditional and make statements with them;

  • Introduce pupils with the names of deserts;

  • Teach pupils to ask and answer the questions following the model;

  • Train to work in small groups and work individually

The procedure of the lesson

1. Organization moment:

a) greeting;

b) checking attendance;

c) dividing into groups of three.



2. Checking up the home work

Exercise: 1 page 57

1. People use camels to travel in the desert.

2. People can use wood to build a house.

3. People can use sticks to make a fire.

4. We use a toothbrush to clean our teeth.

5. You use a spoon to eat ice-cream.



Exercise: 2 page 57

1. You need eggs sugar and flour to make a cake.

2. You need string, cloth and scissors to make a puppet.

3. You need paper, pen and pencil to write a letter.



3. Singing the song: “What will you do today?”

4. Presenting the first Conditional

  • Write on the board What will you do to make your room tidy?

  • Add If you before the notes and your room will be tidy.

  • Read the sentences. Ask children to repeat.



5. Group work

Do the same with the park \ classroom \ playground.
