устной речи по теме.
Учить выражать
мнение о книгах и авторах.
Развивать навыки
аудирования.
Прививать любовь
и интерес к чтению.
Ход урока:

Тема и задачи урока:
Welcome
to our English lesson. The topic of the
lesson is Books and authors.
We are
going to… (слайд №1)
2.
Речевая
разминка:
I.
Our life is
impossible without books. People read books everywhere. They have libraries at
home; they read books in the libraries. Let’s discuss some questions:
-
Why do people
read books?
-
How do you choose
a book? P1, P2. P3.
As for
me I choose book by authors. And what about you?
-
What genres of
books do you now?
II.
Agree or
disagree with me using so… or neither…
-
I like to read
detective stories.
-
I don’t like
science fiction.
-
People learn a
lot from history books.
-
My friend doesn’t
like horror stories.
-
When my daughter
was a child she liked fairy tales.
-
I do not like
adventure stories when I am tired.
-
Girls usually
prefer to read romances.
-
I think that all
genres of books are useful to read.
3.
Развитие навыков аудирования: Let’s practice our listening
skills. (ex. 3, p. 139)
Listen to the texts about
different genres and fill in the table with the number of the text.
Check your answers, count
mistakes and give yourselves marks.

Read the texts of
ex. 5, p. 140 and match the blurbs and the titles.

Name the author
and the genre of the story.

I like to read books. So
does Jane. Listen to the Poem and say what books Jane likes and dislikes and
explain why.

Цель: Практиковать учащихся в чтении и устной речи по теме.
Развивать умения учащихся строить
высказывания с опорой на план.
Расширять кругозор и стремление
узнать больше из средств массовой информации.
Ход урока:
I.
Оргмомент. Задачи урока: Dear friends, today we are going to speak about mass
media, we’ll read text and discuss different mass media, using a plan and
models.
II.
Работа
с лексикой:
Let’s recall the words which
associate with this topic. P1, P2, P3…: I see it won’t be
difficult for you to summaries your knowledge on the topic.
III.
Развитие
навыков устной речи:
1.
You have to
understand the difference between mass media and sources of information.
Look at the screen and name the
information sources.
Which of them can be
called mass media?
So what’s the difference
between mass media and sources of information?
2.
Speak about
one of the sources of information you like most using the questions as a plan.
(ex. 2, p. 103)
3.
Really we
like to use different sources of information when we are going to do homework
on different subjects. Look through the text of ex. 4, p. 104 and say what
rules we must follow when we work with different information sources.
4.
You did your
best while speaking about mass media and sources of information. So let’s try
to translate some sentences from Russian into English: ex. B, p. 106.
IV. Развитие навыков чтения и
устной речи с опорой на прочитанное.
At home you had to read
the text of ex. 3, p. 107.
1. What’s your opinion of the text?
2. Look at the screen and choose the
best headline for the text.
3. What is the text about?
4. What’s the difference between these
types of newspapers?
5.
Broadsheets
against tabloid: ex. 8, p. 109. Find as many facts as you can to describe
broadsheets and tabloids.

6.
Look at the
screen and say where you can look for information and explain why. Use the
model. (ex. 9, p. 108)
V.
Обсуждение:
1.
There are a
lot of newspapers in Russia and other countries. A lot of people begin their
day with newspapers. Look at the newspapers on the screen and say what
information we can find in them. (слайды)
2.
It goes
without saying “Tastes differ”. Different people like to read different newspapers.
I would like you to speak about
Russian newspaper you like to read most.
These questions may be used as a
plan. (ex. B, p. 110)

урока. Оценки за урок.
Remember, children: The more we read
the more we know.
The more we use information sources the
better we study.
