a) In the second phase, they organize the material, trying to
concentrate the attention on the most important points. After this reporters
write their stories.
b) Finally, a collection of stories or articles that have been
chosen for a newspaper о a magazine edition are laid out on trial
pages. The chief editor has to approve the content, style and language of the
material. After that the material is sent for publishing.
c) Before writing an article the reporter has to investigate the
events and to interview the people. Reporters take notes and also take
photographs or shoot videos.

news desk and never by the reporter or the writer of the article. Often the
news desk also re-writes some part of the article or changes its style.

careful judgment when organizing and reporting information.
