to see you and hope that you are ready for the lesson.
There are a lot of guests at our lessons,
but don’t be afraid of them they are the teachers from different schools and I
hope you are ready for the lesson.

Today our lesson is devoted to a very important problem. As you know some
people are healthy, some people are unhealthy. We can’t buy health, but we can
do a lot to keep it. The series of pictures on the screen will help you to
guess what we are going to speak about.

There is a proverb: “Health is the
greatest wealth”. If a person is healthy and strong he can have an interesting
life and do a lot of important things. If something is wrong with your health
you must consult the doctor. The doctor will examine you thoroughly. He will
listen to your heart and chest, feel the pulse, take the temperature and
measureyour blood pressure. Then he puts you through the necessary tests. After
that he will prescribe some treatment, pills or some other medicine, which we
can buy at the chemist’s. The patient should follow the doctor’s prescriptions,
he must take the medicine regularly. Probably, he will recommend you to stay in
bed for some time to avoid serious complications. The wild-spread illnesses are
a cough, a cold, influenza, sore throat. The question is: “How to prevent all
the illnesses?” The answer is simple- go in for sports, eat much fruit and
vegetables, spend more time outdoors, make your life more active, take long
walks and eat healthy food.
