Цели и задачи:
-
воспитывать чувство уважения друг к другу, к обычаям, традициям и культуре
разных народов;

развивать критическое мышление, навыки групповой работы, умение вести диалог и
аргументировать свою позицию, находить компромиссные решения обсуждаемых
проблем;
-
способствовать повышению уровня творческой активности обучающихся.
-развивать
способности к познанию себя и других людей, навыки самоанализа и
самосовершенствования;
-содействовать
преодолению психологических барьеров, мешающих принять себя и уважительно к
себе относиться;

Student 1:
Hello, dear guests and students! Today we’re talking about the United Kingdom
of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
Student 2:
What do you think about when you hear these words? London? Big Ben? What else?
Student 1:
The United Kingdom is a big Empire in the past and a developed country
nowadays.
Student 2:
The UK is the honoring of traditions and the respect of the nation’s history.
Student 1:
That’s right! And it’s not only a country with a good economy but also the mix
of beautiful and exciting places!
Student 2:
Let’s watch a video about this country.

We’re sure you know a lot about the UK.
Student 2:
Why don’t we play a game which is called “How well do you know the UK?”
Student 1:
For it we need you to divide into 2 teams.
Student 2:
Well, there are 6 categories of questions. Each question has a definite point,
from 10 to 50. The team which has more points wins!
Student 1:
At the end of the game there is an extra quick-game for each team.
