Предисловие

Подготовка к ОГЭ по английскому языку предполагает, прежде всего, масштабное и систематизированное повторение грамматики  как неотъемлемой части предмета. Цель данного пособия состоит в том, чтобы  помочь обучающимся повторить материал, изученный на уровне НОО и ООО.

Материал разбит на подтемы, упражнения взяты из разных источников. Некоторые упражнения разработаны самим автором: их источник не указывается. Список использованной литературы для всего сборника приводится в конце. Для удобства применения в пособии приведены ключи к упражнениям.

Степени сравнения  имен прилагательных

Имена прилагательные в английском языке не изменяются ни по лицам, ни по числам, ни по родам, ни по падежам. Они изменяются только по степеням сравнения. Английские прилагательные имеют три степени срав-

нения: положительную (основная форма), сравнительную и превосходную.

 1.1.   Односложные (и некоторые двусложные) прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень путем прибавления суффикса -er; превосходную – суффикса -еst:

hard – harder – hardest

(тяжелый – более тяжелый – самый тяжелый).

5.1.2.  При этом, если прилагательное в положительной степени оканчивается на «немое» -e, то при прибавлении суффиксов сравнительной и превосходной степени оно опускается:

brave – braver – bravest

(храбрый – более храбрый – самый храбрый).

5.1.3. Если прилагательное в положительной степени оканчивается на согласную с предшествующим кратким глас-ным, то в сравнительной и превосходной степени конечная согласная удваивается:

big – bigger – biggest

(большой – больше – самый большой).

 1.4.  Если прилагательное в положительной степени оканчивается на -y с предшествующим согласным, то в сравнительной и превосходной степени конечная -y переходит в -i:

busy – busier – busiest   (занятой – более занятой – самый занятой).

Если же перед конечным -y стоит гласная, то -y остается без изменения:

gay – gayer – gayest         (устар. веселый – более веселый – самый веселый).

1.5. Многосложные прилагательные образуют сравнительную степень путем прибавления к прилагательному   в положительной степени слова more (less); превосходную – путем прибавления слова most (least):

interesting – more (less) interesting – most (least)

interesting (интересный – более (менее) интересный – самый (не) интересный).

5.1.6. Особые случаи образования степени сравнения прилагательных

good — better — the best        хороший-лучше-самый лучший

bad — worse — the worst        плохой –хуже – самый худший

far — farther — the farthest      дальний – дальше – самый дальний

far — further — the furthest         дальний – дальнейший (добавочный)- самый добавочный

many/much — more — the most    много -  больше -  больше всего

little — less — the least           мало-меньше-меньше всего

  После сравнительной степени прилагательных употребляется союз     than-чем:

This book is more interesting than that one. – Эта книга интереснее, чем та.

Существительное, определяемое прилагательным в превосходной степени, всегда имеет определенный

артикль (все, что находится в превосходной степени, единственно, уникально);

1.7. Мost может употребляться перед прилагательным в положительной степени не только для образования превосходной степени, но и со значением весьма, крайне, в высшей степени. При этом существительное в единственном числе употребляется с неопределенным артиклем, а существительное во множественном числе – с «нулевым» артиклем:

It’s a most interesting book. – Это в высшей степени интересная книга.

Those were most interesting books. – Это были крайне интересные книги.

1.8. Мost (most of) употребляется перед существительным также в значении большинство, большая часть:

Most people prefer to live in families. – Большинство людей предпочитает семейную жизнь.

Most of my friends like sports. – Большинство моих друзей любит спорт

Подготовка к ОГЭ по английскому языку предполагает, прежде всего, масштабное и систематизированное повторение грамматики как неотъемлемой части предмета. Цель данного пособия состоит в том, чтобы помочь обучающимся повторить материал, изученный на уровне НОО и ООО. Материал разбит на подтемы, упражнения взяты из разных источников. Некоторые упражнения разработаны самим автором: их источник не указывается. Список использованной литературы для всего сборника приводится в конце. Для удобства применения в пособии приведены ключи к упражнениям.
