II. New theme:
I
want to start our lesson with the words of Byron: ‘He who doesn`t
love his country he can love nothing ’. That`s why today`s our
lesson is called “My Motherland”.
Brainstorming. Now look at the interactive board and give
your associations to the word “Kazakhstan”.

The Republic of
Kazakhstan is situated in the Central Asia. The area of Kazakhstan
is 2753000 square kilometres. Its population is about 16 million.
The largest cities are Almaty, Karaganda, Shimkent, Pavlodar and Astana.
Astana is the capital of the Republic. Kazakh is the official
language of the country. Kazakhstan has its own national flag and
anthem and national holidays.
