Тема: “Живые существа вокруг нас. Животные-символы разных стран”

Тип урока: урок обобщения и систематизации знаний.

Режимы работы:  Учитель-ученик, ученик-учитель,ученик-ученики.ученик-ученик

Цель урока: Развитие ключевых языковых компетенций на уроке английского языка.Повторение названий животных-символов разных стран и знакомство с новыми.

Задачи:

Образовательные: Образовательная: 
– активизировать и совершенствовать актуальный словарный запас обучающихся: повторить изученные лексические единицы и грамматические структуры;  совершенствовать навыки  восприятия иноязычной речи; создать условия для самостоятельного выделения обучающимися и формулирования ими познавательной цели, поиска необходимой информации по изучаемой теме, осознанного построения речевого высказывания в устной форме.

Развивающие:

 – содействовать установлению в сознании ребенка устойчивых связей между накопленным и новым опытом познавательной и практической деятельности;
–формировать и развивать учебно-организационные умения и навыки (взаимоконтроль,самостоятельная работа, коллективная деятельность);
– развивать способность к рефлексии, как важнейшей составляющей умения учиться.  

-создание условий для развития мыслительных процессов: памяти, мышления, внимания; развитие познавательных УУД анализа полученной информации и обобщения при работе с упражнениями и текстом; развитие коммуникативной компетенции при работе индивидуально, в парах; развитие навыков аудирования,  чтения и говорения;

-Расширение страноведческого кругозора обучающихся

Воспитывающие:

– развивать настойчивость и умение преодолевать трудности для достижения намеченной цели;
– активизировать познавательную инициативу обучающихся и формировать их социальную компетентность. 
- воспитание  любви к природе, животным; обеспечение условий для формирования положительного отношения к изучению предмета: «Иностранный язык (английский)»;  развитие речевой культуры.

Для реализации поставленных цели и задач урока необходимо формирование следующих УУД (универсальных учебных действий):

Личностные:

осознание необходимости помогать животным; осознавать свои эмоции, адекватно их выражать и контролировать; понимание эмоционального состояния других людей; оценивание усваиваемых результатов; освоение личностного смысла учения, желания учиться, формирование интереса (мотивации) к учению, адекватное понимание причин успеха/неуспеха в учебной деятельности.

Регулятивные:

уметь концентрировать внимание, уметь анализировать и делать обобщения; формулировать  тему урока; прогнозировать результат; владеть целеполаганием; моделировать учебную ситуацию; применять  знакомый языковой материл по теме в речевой ситуации (в парной работе, при построении монологического высказывания); развивать умение учиться; уметь осуществлять самоконтроль; совместно с учителем и одноклассниками давать оценку деятельности на уроке; выделять и осознавать то, что уже усвоено и что нужно еще усвоить.

Познавательные:

вспомнить лексику по изучаемому материалу; отвечать на вопросы учителя, наблюдать и делать   выводы; уметь работать над развитием и совершенствованием устной речи; читать текст с полным пониманием; учиться извлекать информацию, преобразовывать ее и презентовать;

Коммуникативные:

способствовать формированию готовности к иноязычному общению,  воспитанию доброжелательного отношения друг к другу и культуры поведения; уметь воспринимать  иноязычную речь на слух (речь учителя, ученика, диктора); владеть монологической речью по заданной теме.

Описание урока

1.      Организационный момент (3 мин)

Teacher: Good afternoon, my dear children!

Students: Good afternoon, teacher!

Teacher: We have a lot of guests today. Say hello to our guests.

Students: Good afternoon, teachers!

Teacher: Happy to see you! Sit down! How are you? Are you ready to learn, to know anything new?

Students: Yes!

На экране презентация- 4 фото: бурый медведь, кенгуру. кленовый лист, орел. (учитель спрашивает, что это за животные, чем они являются.

Обучающиеся отвечают, что это символы России, США, Канады и Австралии. Называют тему урока

Teacher: Great! (Слайд 1). Looking at these beautiful pictures we have got some positive emotions and I hope our lesson will be interesting and creative.  Do the first task. Read and find an odd word. (Слайд 2).

1)      a butterfly, an elephant, a caterpillar, a spider, a ladybird

2)      an emu, a parrot, a swallow, a nightingale, a shamrock

3)      an elk, a squirrel, a dragonfly, a hedgehog, a fox

Teacher: Answer the questions. (Слайд 5)

1. Why does the poet want to buy the animals?

(May be she feels sorry alone animals. I think  she wants to make friends.)

2. Do you think animals in a pet shop often look lonely?

(Yes. I think it would be better for them to live in a family but not in a cage.)

3. Why do people buy animals and keep them?

(I think people buy animals because they want to make friends. Because they love animals. Because people want to care about something.)

4. What do you think about keeping animals?

(I think it’s good because we help animals. We give  animals home because there are a lot of homeless animals. Animals make people happy.)

5. What animals should not become pets?

Teacher: Children! Do you know anything about Charles Darwin? (Слайд 6)

Students: It is a scientist.

Teacher: What scientist? What did he learn? I see you don’t know exactly. To know more about this great man we’ll listen to the text “Charles Darwin” and read it. (track 77).

Teacher: Let’s remember our grammar (Слайд 8). It is 9 p.m. now. Say how long it has been raining or snowing in these cities. You have an example: It has been snowing in New York since 8 p.m. It has been snowing in New York for an hour. (на сладе изображены города Москва, Вашингтон, Париж, С.-Петербург, Рим, Лондон и указано с какого времени в этих городах идет дождь или снег).

6.      Ознакомление с фразовым глаголом to make (3 мин)

Teacher: (Слайд 10) Now we have some new grammar. Look at the board. It is phrasal verb “to make”. What does it mean in Russian?

Students: делать, производить.

Teacher: Right! There are some other meanings of this verb.

Do the exercise. Complete the sentences with up, off, out.

(учащиеся самостоятельно изучают значение глагола to make с  предлогами up, out, off и выполняют упражнение) (Слайд 11).

7.      Словообразование. Суффикс –able. (3 мин)

Teacher: (Слайд 12). Now, children, look at this table  and say how we can get new words. You can explain in Russian.

(Учащиеся самостоятельно изучают материал, выводят правило образования прилагательных путем прибавления суффикса –able к существительным и глаголам).

Teacher: (Слайд 13) Do  this exercise. Build the adjectives with –able and complete the sentences.

9.      Развитие навыков говорения (15 мин)

Teacher: (Слайд 15).  Is keeping animals in the zoo a good idea? Read the lists of pros and cons. What is your answer?

1)      Zoos help animals and common people to learn more about animals.	1.      They often keep animals in cages, and it is very unkind.
2)      Zoos show us how rich the animal world is.	2.      There are a lot of zoos, which are small and dirty.
3)      Animals feel fairly comfortable in modern zoos.	3.      Visitors may kill animals when they feed them.
4)      To visit a zoo is enjoyable, especially for children.	4.      Zoo animals may be dangerous for visitors.

Teacher: Now work in pairs and discuss the problem of keeping animals in zoos. Don’t forget starting with: I think…, I believe …, In my opinion … .

Teacher: (Слайд 16). Now describe, please, a zoo you have once visited or an ideal zoo. I give you 3 minutes to prepare. You can use  words and expressions on the left or the dictionaries that you have.
