момент и приветствие. Ознакомление учащихся с задачами урока.
Good afternoon, everyone!
Glad to see you! How are you today? So today, we have so much things to do! How
do you think, what will we do at our lesson? What activity we will start with?
And what will be our purpose at this lesson? You’re absolutely right! At home
your task was to learn by heart new words from exercises 37 and 38. Now,
we are going to check them.
2. Речевая

You have a card, where
you can see some phrases. As you can see they describe one of the words that
you’ve learnt, and your task is to guess what the word is it. You have one
minute to look through it, and then, one by one you read what is given in the
card and it’s definition in English and in Russian. Close your books and
exercise books. (5min)
Very well! Now, I’ll say
some phrases in Russian, and your task is to translate them into English. The
most fast and correct answer will be marked! Они

о их свадьбе быстро распространилась. Яблоко упало с дерева на землю.

3. Ознакомление с
новым лексическим материалом, его первичное закрепление.
While discussing words,
we met a word to mend. Repeat please, what does it mean in Russian? And
What synonyms of this word do you know in English? (to repair) What’s
the difference between them, how do you think? Any ideas? Have a look at the
page (201). You can see the table. It will help us to understand the
difference. Let’s read the examples and translate them. Now, let’s do the ex.
43 to reinforce what we’ve understood.
If we’re talking about
Synonym word having the different cases of using, we can se that there’s a
great number of such words. For example, you know the word to throw?
What does it mean in Russian? And What synonyms of this word do you know in
English (to drop)? Look at the next table, read the examples and
translate them. Do the ex. 44 all together.
Then, you can see the
next table. Look through it yourself, and tell me, what is the difference
between the words golden and gold? And when we all understood the
difference between them, let’s do the ex. 45 all together.
At home you’ve done the ex. 46. How do you think,
after what we knew about these words, does anything need to be corrected once
again? (7 min)
4. Обсуждение прочитанного дома текста,
чтение.
How do you think, what else these new words may be
used for? Where are they also used? What else you’ve done at home? Absolutely
right, the text! You all remember what the text is about? Alright, then, let’s
do the ex. 49 below the text. I will read you the sentences, and your task is
to decide, is it true, false, or it wasn’t mentioned? The most active one will
have a good mark. (3 min)
If you all have read this text at home, let’s read
together now, one by one (look through it one more time). (

Now, look at the ex. 50. Here, you should put the
sentences in the correct order. You have 1 minute to look through it, and then
we start. (5 min)
And now, when we know all this story, let’s retell it
together, one by one. (5 min)
5. Завершающий этап, обобщение пройденного
на уроке, домашнее задание.
