Аннотация. Методическая
разработка включает пример проведения открытого урока в форме экскурсии «Travelling across my native land»
с использованием краеведческого материала. Учащиеся знакомятся с традициями,
историей, и культурой родного края, что способствует развитию личности в духе
патриотизма.
Введение
Согласно Образовательному
стандарту основного общего образования по иностранному языку учебная программа
должна включать материалы, представляющие родную культуру на иностранном языке
и ее вклад в мировую культуру, сравнение своей страны и страны изучаемого
языка, а так же материалы, формирующие умение представлять свою страну
(город, район) в условиях иноязычного межкультурного общения.
В контексте внедрения новых
стандартов ФГОС личностное и социокультурное развитие учащегося становится на
первое место. В учебно-методическом комплекте
«Английский в фокусе» содержится достаточно материалов страноведческого
характера, в частности, сведений из истории, культуры, географии стран
изучаемого языка. Наша страна, тем более отдельные ее регионы, представлены недостаточно,
да это и невозможно. Задача учителя состоит в том, чтобы научить школьника
говорить на английском языке о том, что его окружает, что ему дорого с детства,
чем он горд и готов поделиться со своим потенциальным партнером по
межкультурной коммуникации. Следует отметить, что переход к ЕГЭ по иностранному языку также делает
востребованными знания по краеведению. Так, на экзамене учащийся должен уметь
вести беседу о своем родном селе, его истории, его достопримечательностях,
экологии и проблемах молодежи региона. Все это обуславливает актуальность данной
темы. Сегодняшний выпускник должен обладать такими качествами личности, как
коммуникативность, активность, самостоятельность, конкурентоспособность,
желание и способность к самообразованию и самосовершенствованию,
развитию творческого потенциала.
Принимая
во внимание актуальность данного вопроса, был разработан урок-экскурсия «Travelling across my native land»
Основная
часть
«Урок – экскурсия по английскому языку в 9 классе»
Тема урока: «Travelling across my native land»
Цель: формировать
основные коммуникативные компетенции по теме “Путешествие по родному краю” с
использованием регионального материала.
Задачи урока:
Образовательные:
1. Обогатить знания учащихся в области истории родного края;
2. Расширить лексический запас
слов;
3. Расширить и
углубить культурологические знания обучающихся.
Развивающие:
1. Способствовать
развитию речевых способностей, навыков устной речи, совершенствовать
лексико-грамматические, лингвистические и речевые навыки;
2. Способствовать
развитию коммуникативных навыков;
3. Способствовать
развитию памяти, внимания, мышления, воображения.
Воспитательные:
1. Формирование
патриотического отношения к своему родному краю;
2. Формирование
ценностного отношения к историческому прошлому и настоящему своего края и
чувства гордости за свою малую Родину.

T: As you may have guessed the
topic of our lesson will be dedicated to our native land. Today the lesson is unusual, because in a few minutes you will
meet our British friends. As far as you know they have recently visited the
residence of our Mari Father Frost.

During
the lesson you should listen to our guides very attentively, because at the end
of the lesson you’ll do the task. At first I want you to get acquainted with
new words. They are on the blackboard. Let’s listen and repeat them after me.

We want to say that Mari people are very hospitable and friendly.
T:
How have you spent your time at the residence of Father Frost?

We really have had a lot of fun today. We have met such heroes as Baba Yaga,
a hunter Sonarze, Silver-toothed Pampalche, wise herbalist Emlyze, a bear and
even the forest owner Chodyr Ozanlyk and various spirits.

We have danced around the Christmas tree with Father Frost Йшто Кугыза
and the Snow Maiden Лум Ӱдыр. We have
gone downhill on a sleigh.

And we have been treated to national delicious dishes and we have drunk sweet
herbal tea. Everything was great.
T:
Ok. We are really glad to meet you. And now we want to offer to take a
virtual tour of our native land. Our guides will show and tell us about this
wonderful place.
5. Развитие навыков монологической речи. (Выступления учащихся)
P1: The
Republic of Mari El is famous for its picturesque landscapes, distinguished
traditions and interesting places to visit. There are a lot of
wonderful places in our Republic and the most beautiful of them is our
motherland. (слайды 3,4,5,6) Look at the map of Mari land, you
can see a small point on, it’s our native village Kuknur. It is situated 40
kilometers from our district centre Sernur. Kuknur is not very big, but it’s a
special place for us, because we were born here and still live here with our
parents. (слайд 7)
T:
Kuknur is an administrative centre of our large territory. There is an
interesting fact about the origin of the name of the village.
Р2:
I’m going to tell you about the version of the origin of the name of Kuknur.
The first historical name of the village was “Kupnur” which means “marsh
place”. Later this name was renamed to “Kuknur”. The word “Kuknur” consists
of two tokens: " kuk" which means the mountain and "nur"
means the field. The first settlers were Mari and Russian
peasants, who cultivated virgin lands. So began the life of people on this
land. (слайд8)
T: Now
the territory of Kuknur includes 27 large and small villages.
P3: We should consider the fact that before 1924 the village Kuknur was a
part of Vyatskaya province. Then the village joined the Mari autonomous region.
Now lots of other large and small villages are located near Kuknur. They are
Chitovo, Nizhniy Rushener, Kuskino, Kupsola, Ananur, Eshpoldino, Kurakino,
Krasnaya Gorka and others. About 2400 people live in the territory of our
settlement. (cлайд9)
T: Cities, towns and villages, like people, have their own individuality.
Our native village has its own image that makes it distinctive and recognizable
among others.
Р4: Special attention is always put to the church of the Exaltation of the Precious and Life-giving Cross. It is the unique historical monument in Kuknur. And it’s one of the oldest stone churches in our Republic. It was built in 1816. (слайд10) In the thirties and forties it was closed several times. In the sixties it was destroyed. (слайд11) Only at the beginning of the nineties the church began its work. Our church is 200 years old.(слайд 12)
T: For several years, Кuknur has been popular for its winter Mari magician - Йшто Кугыза.
Р5: The residence of Yushto Kugysa is located in a picturesque place, not far from Kuknur. Yushto Kugysa didn’t come alone but with his granddaughter Lum Udyr and other fairy-tale characters, who entertain distant visitors. (слайд 13)
Every year they receive guests not only from our Republic, but from other regions of our large country and also foreigners. All visitors are always happy and satisfied. (слайд 15)
T: I think that each locality has its own interesting traditions and customs. Our Kuknur land is no exception.
Р6: Every year on the 27th of September we celebrate the Day of the Village. On that day lots of guests come to our village . Different kinds of sport competitions are held here. You can also try delicious Mary national food, participate in different funny contests, sing songs and dance in this festival. (слайд15,16) Every year you can take part in many other activities such as, Farewell Winter Festival, the Victory Day, the Day of old people and others. (слайд 17,18)
T: Our native land is famous not only for its history, traditions,
places of interest but also for the outstanding people. Among them are writers
and poets, actors and journalists, workers of culture and builders.
Р7: I’d like to tell you some
words about some well-known people of my land. Konakov Alexander Fedorovich is the writer, poet,
prose writer and playwright, teacher and public figure. Our school is named
after him. And quite recently
his monument
was erected in front of the school. (слайд19) Ilia
Ivanovich Rossygin is the people's theater actor of the Republic
of Mari El.(слайд 20) Belkova Svetlana Martyanovna is the honored journalist of
the Republic of Mari El and Russian Federation, Mochaeyev Valeriy Alexandrovich is the honored Worker of Culture of our
Republick, Konakov Leonid Nikolayevich is the honored
Builder of the Republic of Mari El, and Honorary Builder of the Russian
Federation, Chetkaryova Nadezhda Leonidovna, Kupsolzeva Lyubov Nikolayevna
are the honored theater actresses of the Young Spectators Theatre. And we are proud of them. (слайды 21,22,23,24)
T: Look what a wonderful
sight is around our village. It’s
really a beautiful and picturesque place. So, if you
want to walk on a carpet of meadows and flowers or climb the hills covered with
thick woods or fish in our river or drink the crystal clear water, Kuknur is
just this place, which you must visit.

and girls and our dear guests, our tour is over. We are happy that you have
visited our Mari land and learned more about our native land.

We want to say thank you for this wonderful tour. We were very interested to
know about your place with beautiful nature. We hope that it is not our last
meeting.

Заключение
Нетрадиционные виды
уроков, с использованием краеведческого материала, дают возможность не только
поднять интерес учащихся к изучаемому предмету, но и развивать их творческую самостоятельность,
обучать работе с различными источниками знаний, формировать и совершенствовать
коммуникативные навыки.
В ходе работы с краеведческим материалом развивается ряд умений
таких как, поиск культуроведческой информации, умение пользоваться справочной
литературой различного характера на родном и иностранном языке. Происходит развитие
навыков литературного перевода, развитие навыков чтения, развитие навыков
устной речи, умение представлять родную культуру на иностранном языке, умение
находить сходство и различие в традициях своей страны, страны изучаемого языка.
