Цель урока: систематизация и обобщение знаний учащихся по теме

"Health and Body Care".

Задачи урока:


  • обобщить лексический материал по теме "Health",

  • обобщить грамматический материал (модальный глагол "should"),

  • совершенствовать навыки говорения, аудирования, чтения и письма по теме.


  • развивать коммуникативные навыки по теме "Health and Body Care",

  • развивать творческие способности учащихся,

  • развивать умение обобщать и делать выводы.

Развивать умения строить самостоятельные устные высказывания на основе усвоенного учебного материала, логическое мышление

Развивать способность самостоятельно выбирать деятельность, планировать и искать способы её осуществления.


  • воспитывать здоровые привычки и культуру здорового образа жизни,

  • воспитывать умение работать в сотрудничестве.

Воспитывать чувство уважения к собеседнику, индивидуальную культуру устного и письменного общения.

Форма урока: урок обобщения знаний.

Оборудование: компьютер, аудиозапись, раздаточный материал (карточки с заданиями по аудированию, карточки "Health Code",), докторский халат и принадлежности.


1. Warming up. Brainstorming

T. – Today our lesson is devoted to a very important topic. I ask you to watch the video and say what we are going to speak about at the lesson.

Учащиеся смотрят видеофрагмент и говорят о теме урока.

The series of pictures on the screen will help you to guess what we are going to speak about.

- What can you see in the first picture? (Слайд 1)

What can you see in the second picture? (Слайд 1)

What can you see in the third picture? (слайд 1)

Now look at all these pictures at once. What do they represent? Can you guess what we are going to speak about?

P. – about health

T. Right you are. But help me, please to give a title to our lesson. We have a lot of proverbs about health. Try to put the words of the proverbs about health in a logical order ( Слайд 2, 3, )

T. Our next task is to find the Russian equivalents for these English proverbs.

1. Good health is above wealth.

Здоровье дороже богатства.

2. An apple a day keeps a doctor away.

Кушай по яблоку в день, и доктор не понадобится.

3. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise.

Кто рано ложится и рано встает, здоровье, богатство и ум наживет.

4. A sound mind in a sound body.

В здоровом теле - здоровый дух.

a ) T. But at first we should revise some words on our topic.

T. Look at the screen, please. and read these words on the transcription

3. The plan of the lesson.

T. – So today we are going to speak about our health, about what we should do to be healthy and about doctors, because they help us to be healthy. As you know some people are healthy, some people are unhealthy. Health is the most precious things in people's life. I think there are two main problems connected with health.

1. What should people do to be healthy? ( на доске с обратной стороны )

2. Can we live without doctors?

T. – What do you think we shall do at the lesson to solve these problems?

You can see the plan of our lesson on the blackboard. Let’s name what we shall do at the lesson.

4. Project work – Health code. Слайд 8.

T. – We can't buy health, but we can do a lot to keep it. In order to be healthy we should follow some special rules. I have these rules but they are mixed and I am not sure how to put them in the right group. So I ask you to divide into two groups. Take the card with the name of your project –

1) Health code – you should……

2) Health code – you shouldn’t ……..( делятся на группы )

Take the paper, choose the pictures and the right rules for your group and try to make a short project on our topic. ( Слайд 7 ) картинки - проект.doc, Good rules to remember.doc

T. – And now your work is over and let’s listen to your rules. ( Ученики вешают проекты на доску и читают по очереди правила. )

T. – Can you say that you also follow these rules?

T. – What is the main rule for you?

5. Reading. Слайд 9.

T. – Now we know all the rules to keep fit and one of them is “Eat healthy food to keep fit.” Do you think that healthy food is full of vitamins? And what vitamins do you know?

P. – A, B, C, D, ………

T. – Do you know in what food we can find these vitamins? Let’s read a short text and make a list of vitamins. Reading.doc

T. – Do you think we have solved the first problem? - Of course we have.

6. PT minute. ( Видео под музыку.) Слайд 11

T. Are you tired? Let's have a rest and sing a song “Head and shoulders”

( поют песню и делают зарядку. )

And eyes, and ears, and mouth and nose.

7. Listening. Слайд 12

T. I hope you understand that it is important to follow these simple rules to keep fit. But sometimes people can fall ill. What should they do in this case?

P. – Visit a doctor.

T. – Of course, we visit different doctors and even animals visit them, if they have problems with their health. On the blackboard you can see the pictures of four doctors – let’s name them:

A surgeon, a vet, a physician, a dentist.

T. – You will listen to the dialogues about these doctors and your task is to write in your cards what dialogue is about what doctor.

8. Doctor's routine (Слайд 13)

T. – So you see that doctors can help people if they fall ill.

What is doctor's daily routine?

This pictures will help you.

- What does he study?

- Whom does he treat?

- What does he prescribe?

- What does he write?

- Where does he work?

9. Dialogues  T. I see that you know everything about doctor's daily routine. I think that when we all were small kids we played the same game called "Hospital". Some of you were doctors, others were patients. Let's return back to the past and remember what it is like to be a doctor and a patient. I have some cards with the words for the dialogues. I'll give you two minutes to concentrate and then you will role-play your dialogues.

10. Reflection. (Слайд 14)

T. – Now let’s say what you can do after our lesson.

10. Summing up

T. Our lesson has come to an end. It was our last lesson on the topic "Health and Body Care". I see that you know much about the main rules of keeping fit. And I hope that you will continue to take care of your health in everyday life in future.

11. Home Assignment
