Цель: развитие компонентов коммуникативной компетенции
учащихся по теме “Famous people” .
Задачи:
образовательные:
познакомить с
некоторыми фактами из жизни знаменитых людей;
создать условия для активизации
знаний, умений и навыков учащихся по теме;
создать условия для
развития умения работать с текстом, учить логически строить высказывание на
основе прочитанной , услышанной и переработанной информации;
развивающие:
развивать кругозор
учащихся;
развивать способности к
распределению внимания, к догадке, к анализу и синтезу;
стимулировать навык
критического мышления и самостоятельного осмысления полученной информации;
развитие навыков
письменной речи (умения собирать информацию и писать тезисы по данному плану).
воспитательные:
воспитать уважение к
достижениям знаменитых людей;
воспитывать культуру
сотрудничества при работе в группах;
повысить мотивацию
учащихся к изучению английского языка, оптимизируя процесс обучения с помощью
использования элементов технологии развития критического мышления.
Ход урока:
1. Орг.момент : Good morning,
boys and girls! Glad to see you. How are you today? Are you ready to start our
lesson? Let’s begin. And now open your books on p.102 and look at these photos.
Do you know these people. And what1s our topic. ? p: famous people. Yes you are
right. Today we start to speak about famous people.

William Shakespeare, the greatest and most famous of English
writers, and probably the greatest playwright who has ever lived, was bom on
the 23d of April, 1564, in Stratford-on-Avon.
In spite of his fame we know very little
about his life. At the age of six he was sent to schoolHis father, John
Shakespeare, was a glove-maker, and when he fell into debt, William had to help
him in the trade.
At the age of eighteen, he married Anne
Hathaway. Ann was eight years older than her husband and the marriage wasn't a
happy one.
When Shakespeare was twenty-one, he went to
London. We don't know why he left Stratford-on-Avon
Later, Shakespeare became an actor and a member of a very
successful acting company. It's highly probable that The Comedy of Errors, Romeo
and Juliet and some other plays by Shakespeare were performed for the first
time on this stage.
Shakespeare wrote 37 plays: 10 tragedies (such
as Hamlet, King Lear, Othello, Macbeth), 17 comedies (such as As You Like It,
Twelfth Night, Much Ado About Nothing), 10 historical plays (such as Henry IV,
Richard III.). He also left 7 books of poems.
Most of Shakespeare's plays were not published
in his lifetime. So some of them may have been lost in the fire when the Globe
burnt down in 1613.
Shakespeare spent the last years of his life at
Stratford, where he died, ironically, on the same date as his birthday, the 23d
of April, 1616. He was buried in the church of Stratford. A monument was
erected to the memory of the great playwright in the Poet's Corner in Westminster
Abbey. In 1997, Shakespeare's Globe was restored.
Elizabeth II is the Queen of the United Kingdom.
She was born on April 21st, 1926. Her full name is Elizabeth Alexandra Mary and
she is the monarch of sixteen sovereign states, Elizabeth was born in London
and educated privately at home. She was the oldest daughter of Elizabeth I and
Prince Albert, Her most favourite subjects included arts and
sport. Elizabeth’s husband is Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. They
married on November 20th, 1947. The Queen has five official residences in Great
Britain, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle.

Today we have
remembered some famous British people. Russian people are proud of them too,
because their activities helped to develop the world. They say ,,Famous people
belong to the world’’. At the next lesson we are going to speak about Famous
Russian People. Russia also has many people who are known all over the world.
So at home you will write about famous Russian person whom you admire (5-6
sentences) and a chinquapin about any famous person.
