Organizational moment
Hello,
boys and girls. Glad to see you again. Today is the 20th of
December, isn’t it?
And
we are going to have a very a special lesson.
The
topic of our lesson today is«Cooking is my profession»
II.
So, today you are to show your cooking skills. But before starting our
lesson, I would like to ask you a question, and why do you want to become a
cook? Think it over. Any volunteers?
Possible
answer:

I like cooking very much.

And I want to cook in a big restaurant.

And I would like to be as our Valeri Batradzovich does

must add that V.B. cooks delicious things very well.

Now

There
is a nice recipe on it:
Recipe.
Classic Cucumber - and -Tomato Salad
Ingredients:
Cucumber – 5 pieces
Tomato – 5 pieces
Onion - 1piece
Garlic – 2 cloves
Additives:
(seasoning)
Oil – 2 tbsp.
Apple vinegar – 1tbsp.
Salt, pepper – to taste.
Well,
say after me altogether all these words.
Cucumber – cucumbers
Tomato – tomatoes
Onion – onions
Garlic
Oil
Vinegar, apple vinegar
Salt
Pepper
-That’s
all right, I think we can’t cook any food without kitchen utensil.

What kitchen utensil must we have to cook food?

kitchen utensil includes:

a dish or a bowl
a plate – plates

Теперь всю лексику повторяем в обратном порядке с русского на
английский.

Now, let’s watch some video clip how to cook a classic vegetable salad. It’s an
example for you.
So,
what must we do with vegetables.
P1: to cut it in quarters (in triangles), to
slice in dices;
P2: to chop (to cut), to mince a garlic;
P3: to give them a good mix;
P4: to add salt and pepper to taste.
V.
As we have learnt our recipe, so let’s fill in our Technological Card.
VI.
Now, I think it’s time to make our salad.
Put
out all the things on the table; prepare your cutting boards and knives.
What
are we going to do now?
P1:I must chump the cucumbers in quarters and slice
them in dices;
P2:I must cut the tomatoes in triangles;
P3:I must slice two cloves of garlic;
P4:Then I must add 2 tbsp of oil, 1 tbsp of
apple vinegar and salt, pepper to taste, then make them sit a little.
So the Classic Cucumber- and -Tomato salad is ready.
