Урок английского языка в 9 классе                                   

Тема: Земля создана для тебя и меня.

         The Earth was made for you and me.

Цель урока:  мотивация познавательной деятельности.

Задачи:  - формировать умения представлять свой регион,

               -  развивать коммуникативные умения в говорении и аудировании,

               - воспитывать качество гражданина и активизировать познавательный интерес учащихся.

Ход урока:

I.  Орг.момент.

T.: Good morning! Nice to meet you at the lesson!

     I want to ask  you to complete the sentence: We live …

   Yes, we live on the Earth. Was it made for people? The Earth was made for you and me. This is the theme  of  the lesson.   

What country do we live? – Yes, we live in Russia, the largest country of the Earth.

  From the ancient times Southern Urals have attracted people by their favourable living conditions. Nowadays the Chelyabinsk region is famous for unique nature.

A.    National park Zyuratkul was established on November 22,1993. It is located in the North-west of the Chelyabinsk region in the Satkinsky raion. A variety of national landscapes can be identified there, ranging from mixed and taiga forests to subalpine meadows and mountain tundra at the top of the mountain ranges. The largest part of the park is covered with forests with 650 species of plants. Mount Zyuratkul is 1175m tall. Mount  Nurgush, 1405m tall, which is the tallest peak in the Chelyabinsk region. In late spring and early summer the peaks are blooming with flowers. Another picturesque place is Lake Zyuratkul, the lake is surrounded with mountain ranges, it attracts many tourists.

B.  The Sikiyaz-Tamaksky cave park is located in the Satkinsky raion in the Ai valley on the left bank of the river, in the neighborhood of the village Sikiyas-Tamak. The cave park consists of 43 caves, grottos, karst holes, arches and bridges. 17 caves and grottos hide the traces of 7 historical eras. It is a natural museum, where landscape, flora and fauna, traces of ancient people interflew.

       Kurgasakskaya Cave, a cave of corridor – grotto type that consists of three large halls connected by passages. Total length of the passages is 357 m , the lowest point is 16 m deep. The Kurgasakskaya cave is one of the few karst cavities in the Chelyabinsk region that have an underground glacier.

C.   National Park Taganai was established in 1991. It is located in one of the most magnificent places of the South Urals- in the area of the Taganai plexus, a bit to the north of the old Ural city of Zlatoust. The territory of the park has preserved alpine tundra and meadows, light and old-growth forests. The “uplands” is the favourite recreation site. The magnificent of mountain landscapes of the Yurma, the Taganai has been emphasized by a number of researchers, explorers, artists and writers. Numerous songs have been composed describing the beauty of the mountain slopes,including the song “Taganai” composed by Oleg Mityajev that became the unofficial anthem of the National Park.
