Lucky Strike

«Счастливый случай» - интерактивно-развлекательная игра для учащихся 6-х классов  Задачи:

Образовательная: расширение лингвистического кругозора учащихся.

Развивающие: развитие познавательной активности и умения применять полученные знания          в          новой            коммуникативной           ситуации,     развитие интеллектуальных способностей, формирование положительной мотивации к изучению английского языка.

Воспитательные: развитие интереса к культуре и традициям стран изучаемого языка, умения работать в команде.

Разработана        интерактивная презентация        сопровождающая          весь   ход мероприятия.

Ход мероприятия.

СЛАЙД 1

Show-host: Good afternoon! I’m glad to meet you at our game “Lucky Strike”! 

СЛАЙД 2

Show-host: Two teams are going to compete now. So, let’s start! Meet the 1^st team “CATS” and the second team “DOGS”

СЛАЙД 3 (клик –слайд, клик - значок музыки, клик -2 раза до появления обеих команд)

Команды выходят на сцену, Садятся за свои столы.

Show-host: Introduce your teams please!

Капитаны представляют свою команду. This is… And I am…

Show-host: And now I would like to introduce our jury. They will be the referees and keep the score. So please meet… 

Show-host: Let’s decide which team starts by tossing a coin. So the team CATS is head and the team DOGS is tails.

Show-host: So, head or tails? (бросаем монетку) Well? The team “…” will start!

СЛАЙД 5

Show-host: Our first game is “Warming up”. Each team should answer the questions in turn.  Ready? Steady? Go!

1)    How many letters are there in the English ABC? (26 letters)

2)    How many seasons are there in a year? (4 seasons)

3)    Who is my father’s father? (my grandfather)

4)    Who is my mother’s son? (my brother)

5)    When do the British celebrate Christmas? (in December)

6)    What is a hot-dog? (a sandwich)

7)    What is Coca-Cola? (a drink)

8)    Where can we take a shower? (in the bathroom)

Show-host: All right! We can stop now. Dear jury, how many right answers has CATS? And DOGS? So “…” win the 1^st game! The score is 1:0

Show-host: And now let’s have some rest! We’re having the game with the fans!

Show-host: I have porridge for breakfast. What do people usually have for breakfast? If you agree, you will say “So, do I”. If you don’t agree, you will say “Oh, never”. Let’s start!

Show-host: And now we have the 2^nd game. It is called “Dark Horse”. Guess the characters of English and American books and cartoons! If the teams don’t guess what we mean, the fans can help their teams to get a point. Raise your flags up, if you know the answer. (Dear fans your team needs help, raise your hands to answer.) 

1)    This character is very funny. He is fat but very nice. He enjoys to make up rhymes. He likes honey but he doesn’t like bees. And… he’s a bear. (Whine-the-Pooh)

2)    This is a very kind girl. She is very beautiful, much more beautiful then her stepmother. That’s why she is sent to the forest. But the girl finds 7 friends there. They are not very tall but so kind to her! (Snow White)

3)    This man is the character of English folk rhymes. He is very fat. He is always hungry. He can eat everything: bread and butter, cheese and meat, churches and people. (Robbin the Bobbin)

4)    It’s the character of the American cartoon created by Walt Disney. He is very clever but he always has a lot of problems with the cat. And by the way… It’s a mouse.

5)    This is a boy. He has no parents. He is very talented and clever. He studies at the magic school. He has got a lot of friends and they help him to fight against the angry man. (Harry Potter)

6)    She is a very kind and nice girl. She has got a father and a stepmother. Her stepsisters are angry and greedy. The girl has got a godmother, a fairy. This fairy gives her a very beautiful dress and crystal shoes to go to the ball. But the girl loses one shoe. (Cinderella)
