Тема «Описание колледжа (здание, обстановка, условия жизни, техника, оборудование)»

Цель: формирование общих компетенций при изучении темы «Описание колледжа (здание, обстановка, условия жизни, техника, оборудование)»

Задачи:

Учебная: обобщение и систематизация знаний и умений студентов по данной теме и применение их в различных ситуациях;

Образовательная:  развивать умственные способности: память, внимание;

совершенствовать умения и навыки практического владения английским языком (монологической и диалогической речи, навыки чтения, говорения, аудирования, письма);

познакомить с новыми лексическими единицами профессиональной направленности;

расширить коммуникативные способности обучающихся через работу в парах;

формировать информационные компетенции через презентацию и работу с текстом профессиональной направленности;

активизировать грамматические навыки (Времена группы Simple).

Развивающая: создать условия для развития внимания, познавательного интереса, коммуникативных способностей;

способствовать развитию навыков монологической и диалогической речи с использованием опорного материала;

развивать навыки  детального понимания содержания текста с извлечением конкретной информации;

развивать коммуникативные навыки  и умения в процессе общения на английском языке, тренировать в употреблении профессиональной лексики по теме.

Воспитательная: воспитание потребности в практическом использовании языка, как средства общения, воспитание профессионального интереса и любви к избранной специальности, чувства гордости и уважения к учебному заведению;

стимулировать студентов к работе в коллективе (группе);  создавать условия для формирования у студентов личностных качеств: самостоятельность, трудолюбие, творчество;

воспитывать понимание важности темы, включающую элементы профессиональной направленности.

Прогнозируемый результат (формируемые компетенции):

ОК 01. Выбирать способы решения задач профессиональной деятельности применительно к различным контекстам;

ОК 02. Осуществлять поиск, анализ и интерпретацию информации, необходимой для выполнения задач профессиональной деятельности;

ОК 03. Планировать и реализовывать собственное профессиональное и личностное развитие;

ОК 04. Работать в коллективе и команде, эффективно взаимодействовать с коллегами, руководством, клиентами;

ОК 05. Осуществлять устную и письменную коммуникацию на государственном языке с учетом особенностей социального и культурного контекста;

ОК 09. Использовать информационные технологии в профессиональной деятельности.

ОК 10. Пользоваться профессиональной документацией на государственном и иностранном языках;

Тип урока. Комбинированный – совершенствование языковых компетенций в чтении, аудировании и говорении.

Вид урока. Урок-практикум.

Методы. Интерактивный

Межпредметные связи: информатика, русский язык.

Аспекты языка: лексика.

Виды речевой деятельности:  говорение, чтение, письмо.

Методы работы преподавателя - организаторская, обучающая, мотивирующая, контролирующая, стимулирующая (рассказ, объяснение, беседа)

Методы работы обучающихся –  словесный (беседа, рассказ);  наглядный (метод демонстраций);  практический ( выполнение упражнений).

Способы организации деятельности преподавателя и студентов: фронтальный, индивидуальный, парный, коллективный.

Материально-техническое обеспечение урока. Компьютер, интерактивная доска, раздаточный материал, презентация, методическая  разработка  занятия.

Ход урока

І. Организационный момент. Психолого – педагогический настрой группы.

а) Мотивация к учебной деятельности. Приветствие:

Teacher: Good morning, students!

Students: Good morning!

Teacher: Take your seats and get ready for the lesson. I am glad to see you today. How are you?

Students: We are fine, thanks.

Teacher: Dear students, we have a lot of guests at our lesson today. They are teachers from our college. I hope, you are well today and we’ll work productive and favorable. I wish you to be active, don’t be shy.

б) Речевая зарядка:

Teacher: Tell me, please, who is on duty today? What date is it today? What weekday is it today? Who is absent today? What was your home work for today?

Student: I am on duty today. Today is the 29^th of November. Today is Tuesday. All are present. Our home work was to learn the words by heart.

II. Актуализация прежних знаний и способов действий.

III.  Постановка темы, целей, и выдвижение учебно - познавательной гипотезы (задачи):

Teacher: Listen to me attentively.  I'll tell you a few sentences, and you try to guess and tell me the topic of our lesson today.

     This is a 3-storey building with a large number of classrooms, where boys and girls get knowledge in various subjects. The guys spend most of their time here and, if they study well, they get a scholarship. There are also a lot of events held here. The guys come here to gain knowledge and English plays an important role.

Who guessed what our lesson today is about?

Students: About College.

Teacher:  You are right. At our lesson today we’re going to speak about our college and the professions that our students study. You will get acquainted with the professional vocabulary.  You will learn new words, new interesting facts, improve your speaking, listening skills and grammar. I decided to take this theme because I consider it is very actual and our today’s lesson will help you in your future.

Teacher:  Before we start talking about college, let's remember the grammatical material “Simple Tenses”.  Look at the screen. Your task is to do the test. Read the sentences and choose the right answer.

Student 1: The official name of our college is Togliatti Industrial and Pedagogical College.

Teacher: Can you answer this question, when was our college founded?

Student : Our college was established in 1967 as Vocational School No. 54 for the training of skilled workers.

So this year it will celebrate its 55th anniversary.

Teacher: Well, you are good. Now tell me, please, how many professions are there in the college? Do you know and what are they?   (Студенты отвечают на вопрос и перечисляют профессии, которым обучают в нашем колледже)

Students 2, 3: There are many professions in our college. They are:

2. Тренировка навыков  аудирования с целью понимания общего содержания прослушанного текста (Develop your Listening Skills). Студенты прослушивают текст  и  пересказывают его на русском языке, что они поняли. Пытаются ответить на вопросы преподавателя.

«My college»

     I would like to tell you about my college. First, I would like to note that our educational institution is not new, and has its own traditions. Our college was built more than fifty years ago.

     The classrooms at our college are bright, spacious and comfortable. They are all equipped with everything you need in our time: computers, video and interactive whiteboards. There are laboratories for the study of physics and IT in college.

     Our college has computer classes, where students use the Internet; create their first computer programs and projects in various subjects.    

     My training and in the future my work will be related to computers, about which you need to know a lot of interesting things. Personal computers have a lot of applications; however, there are some major categories of applications: home and hobby, word processing, professional, educational, small business and engineering and scientific, etc.         

It is impossible not to mention the workshops that are located in the yard of the college and where our students of other specialties have practice.

     To summarize, I must say that studying at my college is both hard work and real pleasure.

IV. Применение знаний и формирование умений и навыков.

4.      I made my final choice and I entered to College. I am fond of sports and I understood that I would like to be in the profession connecting with my hobby. I want to enjoy my work and get satisfaction from it. (Teachers’ Training College of Physical Culture of Olympic reserve)

5.     I entered  this college and now I study here. I liked my college very much. I have many friends.  This college trains students in many specialties. This is a three storey building. I like to work with computers. There are workshops and not far from college there is a hostel not far from the college there is a hostel where nonresident students live (Industrial and Pedagogical College)
