Цель
урока –изучение использования лексики «внешность.части
тела» на примере идиомы «Break a leg»
Задачи
урока –
1) образовательные:
Формировать
умение употреблять изученные лексические единицы в речи учащихся;
формировать
навыки англоязычного произношения;
формировать
грамматические навыки: порядок построения слов в предложениях.
формировать
навыки собственного суждения по данной теме.
2) развивающие:
развивать
навыки фонетического слуха; аудирования;
развивать
интерактивно-коммуникативные способности;
совершенствование
навыков диалогической и монологической речи;
совершенствование
навыков чтения, говорения, произношения;
развитие
мыслительной активности учащихся;

урока
1.Организационный
момент
T:
Good morning, pupils.
Today
we are going to speak about people. We are all different and it’s really great,
it makes our life more interesting. But what makes people different?
Ss:
Their appearance, their nationality, their character etc.We are going to speak
about people’s appearance, we will repeat the body parts and study
very interesting idioms
During
the lesson you will practice in speaking, listening and reading. But
first let’s practice in phonetics and remember some words you’ll need during
the lesson.

Has he

OK. And what can you say about this character?
First what about his built? Is he heavy built or fat?
And then we should speak about his age.

Чтение: Работа с текстом «Break a leg» (P20 Ex 4 a)
а)Выполнение
pre-reading activities, задавая вопросы ученикам по фотоиллюстрациям на доске
подводим к теме текста к понятию, что такое идиома.
T:What are the people in the pictures doing? Students try to
express their opinion. Possible answers; ( 1. a runner is getting ready to
compete 2. Two students are revising for their exam. 3. A business team
getting ready for negotiation)
T: Do you know any expressions or word combinations we have a
problem to translate correctly even if we know the meaning of all the words in
the expression or word combination?
T: Before
reading the text, warn them that there is an idiom in it which is not easy to translate. Break a leg

Разделить
класс на 3 группы и попросите каждую группу прочитать по одной истории. Каждая
группа обсуждает мнения гномов и соглашается и не соглашается с ними. После
обсуждения в группе студенты делятся своим мнением.
