Цели
урока:
совершенствование
лексических и грамматических навыков говорения по теме “Earth Is Our Home”;
развитие
речевых умений на основе творческого использования усвоенного материала по теме
урока.
Задачи
урока:
1. Образовательные:
расширять и активизировать употребление лексических единиц по теме “Nature”.
2. Развивающие:
развивать навыки фонетического слуха;
развивать
умения учащихся осуществлять монологические высказывания.
3. Воспитательные:
воспитывать у учащихся любовь к природе и бережное отношение к ней;
расширять
кругозор учащихся.
Применяемые
технологии:
коммуникативно-ориентированное
обучение;
учебно-познавательная
игра;
развитие
познавательных интересов.
Оформление
кабинета:
Картинки с
видами природы, животных, карточки с индивидуальными заданиями, стенгазета “Hug the Earth”,
компьютер, проектор, глобус, скворечник, кормушка, мяч, яблоко.
Ход
урока.
I. Оргмомент.
Teacher: Look at
the pictures on the screen and try to guess the subject of our lesson.
P1: I
think our lesson is about the Earth.
P2: Our
lesson is about disappearing animals and birds.
II. Речевая разминка.
What is the name
of the planet we live on?
What can you see
if you look at our planet from space?
How many oceans
are there on the Earth?
How many
continents are there on it? What are they? Name them and show them on the
globe.
Do you think the
Earth is beautiful? What makes it beautiful?
III.
Исполнение песни “The Beauty of
the World”.
Teacher: The Earth
is full of wonders. Keep your eyes open and you’ll see the sun in the sky,
green grass under your feet, flowers in the field. Keep your ears open and
you’ll hear birds singing in the trees and the wind playing with the leaves.
Учащиеся исполняют песню “The Beauty of the
World”(упр.15,стр.83)

Развитие
навыков аудирования.
Disappearing Animals
1.Teacher: Our
planet is very beautiful and very fragile. Many people say it is in danger
because some people do a lot of harm to it. What wrong things do people do?
P1:
They kill animals and birds.
P2:
They cut down trees.
P3:
They make water and air dirty.
Teacher: Many
animals and birds are disappearing nowadays because modern life is bad for
them: the air is not fresh, the water is not clean, they don’t have good things
to eat and space to live. You can find their names in the Red Book. I have
prepared some stories about them for you.
Bats. Many kinds
of bats are disappearing now. You may be surprised but people kill them for
meat. Besides, people cut down forests and bats have no place to live and they
can’t find food. Some kinds of bats have already disappeared.
Crocodiles. These
crocodiles live in India. People hunt them for their wonderful skin. They use
it to make shoes and bags. People have already killed a lot of crocodiles and
the crocodiles are disappearing.
Wild cats. They
live in South America. They are very beautiful and graceful animals. People
hunt them for their skin.
Gazelles. They
live in Africa and in the Near East. They are rare animals nowadays as people
have hunted them for centuries.
Every year people
catch and sell about a million of wild animals. As the result many rare animals
have disappeared. (Рассказ сопровождается демонстрацией слайдов)
Учащиеся
рассказывают об исчезающих видах с помощью опорных слов.
2.Some animals
have come to us to tell their sad stories. Listen to them. (Дети выходят в
масках животных)
I’m
a white bear.
We, white bears, are very big and strong animals. We live in the North near the
Arctic Ocean. We eat fish and sea animals. People who live in the North are
afraid of us and kill us. But we are not aggressive to people. People usually
kill us for meat and for our skin. They make clothes from our skin. The result
is very sad: there are few of us, white bears, in the country.
I’m
an Indian tiger.
We, tigers, eat meat and sometimes we kill domestic animals. People often hunt
us for our beautiful skin. They sell our skin and get a lot of money as the
prices are very high. There are few Indian tigers on the Earth now. Many of
them are usually old sick animals.
I’m
an African elephant.
Elephants are wonderful animals. We are very big and strong. We can carry heavy
things and help people. People hunt us for our tusks-they are very expensive.
Nowadays there not many of us in Africa.
Все «животные» вместе: People! Don’t
kill us! Protect us and other wild animals.
3. An Apple as
the Earth.
Teacher: People
kill animals and cut down trees. They build plants which make water and air
dirty. People, animals and plants can’t live without water. There is a lot of
water on the Earth but we can’t drink it as it is not good for drinking. How
much water and how much land is there on our planet?
It is not an easy
question. This apple will help us to find the right answer.
Imagine that this
apple is our Earth. I’ll cut this apple into quarters. Three-quarters of the
Earth’s surface is water - oceans, seas, rivers and lakes, and only one-quarter
is land.
Now I’ll cut this
quarter (land) in halves. Only one-half of the land is habitable (it means
people can leave there). The rest of the land is deserts, mountains and other
places where people can’t live.
Now I’ll cut this
piece (habitable land) into four sections. Only one-thirty-second of the
Earth’s surface is where all the food comes from.
Контроль понимания.
Show the piece of
the apple which represents water (land, habitable land).
Where does our food
come from?
What will happen
if people destroy this part of the land?
People depend on
the Earth. What does the Earth give to people?
V. Правила
поведения в общественных местах.
When you go for a
walk you can see different signs in the streets and in the parks. Sometimes
people don’t pay attention to them. But the signs are very important. They tell
us to do or not to do something. They tell us what is right and what is wrong.
Look at the signs
(Keep of the grass. Don’t destroy birds’ nests. Don’t make fires in the
forests. Don’t leave litter.) and choose the right pictures.
People do harm to
nature not only when they are in the countryside but in cities and towns too.

разыгрывают выученную заранее сценку.
P1 Hi,
boys. The weather is fine today and I don’t feel like studying or watching TV.
Let’s go for a walk and play there.
P2:
That sounds good
P3: OK,
let’s go.
P4:
What is there in my pocket, I wonder. Oh, some used cinema tickets. I don’t
need them ( выбрасывает их).
P5: Oh,
what wonderful flowers I can see on the flowerbed! I’ll pick some for my
granny. She likes flowers very much.
P3:
Boys, look at this tree .Can you see a nest with a bird over there? I wonder if
there are any eggs in it. Let’s have a look.
Teacher: The boys
have done some wrong things. What are they?
P1:
It’s wrong to pick flowers ( to destroy bird’s nests, to leave litter).
VI. Совершенствование
лексических навыков говорения.
1. Игра
с мячом. Все учащиеся получают карточки и составляют предложения с
предложенными им словосочетаниями, передавая мяч друг другу.
