         Материал игры «Ты счастливчик!» охватывает общую информацию по англо-говорящим странам: страноведение, культура и традиции, грамматические и лексические знания.

        Основными целями данного мероприятия являются совершенствование полученных на уроках иностранного языка знаний и навыков; поддержание мотивации к овладению иностранным языком в целом; приобщение учащихся к добросовестному изучению иностранного языка не только как школьного учебного предмета, а, прежде всего, как нового важнейшего средства общения.

Ход игры.

        При выборе участника все желающие проходят отборочный тур, по результатам которого определяется участник. Участнику игры предлагается ответить на пятнадцать вопросов по разным темам, имеющих четыре варианта ответа. Уровень сложности вопросов повышается. У участника есть три подсказки: 1) «пятьдесят на пятьдесят», 2) «помощь учителей», 3) «помощь товарищей».

        Каждый пятый вопрос имеет несгораемую оценку: пятый вопрос – одна «пятёрка», десятый вопрос – две «пятёрки»,  пятнадцатый вопрос – три «пятёрки».

Название игры: «You are lucky» (Ты счастливчик!)

Цели: - способствовать развитию навыка чтения, говорения;

          - способствовать развитию логического мышления и языковой догадки.

Задачи: - развивать логическое мышление и языковую догадку, через угадывание перевода незнакомых слов;

              - укреплять знания по грамматике английского языка;

              - расширять кругозор учащихся с помощью вопросов о традициях, культуре, достопримечательностях англо-говорящих стран.

Оборудование:

1.     Экран, проектор, ноутбук.

2.     Четыре варианта презентаций с вопросами.

Ход мероприятия:

1 этап. Организационный.

Приветствие, постановка целей и задач мероприятия.

Знакомство учеников с правилами игры (за основу взяты правила теле игры «Кто хочет стать миллионером?»)

2 этап. Отборочные туры.
