Цель урока: Обобщение и
систематизация знаний по теме «World animals».
Совершенствование навыков устной речи по теме «World animals».
Задачи
урока:
Образовательные:

активизировать
изученную лексику по теме «World animals»;

развивать
навыки аудирования;
·
развивать
навыки говорения по теме;
·
тренировать
учащихся в употреблении знакомых лексических и грамматических структур;

навыки употребления лексики о животных в диалогической речи;

Ход
урока.
I.
Организационный
момент.
Teacher: Good morning, children! I’m glad to
see you. Take your places. Let’s begin our lesson. Who is on duty today? What
date is it today? Who is absent today? Is everybody here?
The topic of
our lesson is «World animals». As you know the world is full of animals, some
are big and tall, some are strong and dangerous and some are cute and small. All
creatures are amazing. Animals are wonderful. They’re beautiful to see.
Today
we shall repeat the words, make up the dialogues and listen to the texts about
different kinds of animals, do some exercises and play. Please, be active,
polite and attentive. I wish you good luck.
II.

Teacher: But before we start, let’s recite the

Well done, thank you, pupils. I see
that all of you have and love the pets. What animals do you know? Do you know
domestic animals? Do you know wild animals? Look at the pictures and name
domestic and wild animals according to the diagram.

Game «A wild
animal or a domestic animal».
Teacher: Good for you, pupils. Let’s play. The
game is called “wild or domestic”. I throw a ball, you catch it and say “wild
or domestic”.
Правила
этой игры похожи на правила игры «Съедобное и несъедобное». Учитель бросает мяч
ученику и называет животное, а ученик, бросая мяч обратно, называет слово
«дикий или домашний».

Teacher:
Very good! And now it’s time to check
up your home task. Your task is to write a paragraph about a wild animal or
about your pet.

Диалогическая речь.
Teacher: We’ll continue our lesson. Now your
task is to prepare short dialogues. Be ready to act out your dialogues. I’ll
give you 3 minutes. Who is ready to act the dialogues out?

1 (Group 1). Be
ready to read the dialogue aloud and to translate it. (work in pairs).
A: Have you got a pet?
What is it?
B: Yes, I have. It’s a
tortoise.
A: What is its name?
B: Its name is Alice.
A: What does it look like?
B: She has got a shiny
shell and a long neck. My tortoise has got sharp claws, too.
A: What’s its favourite
food?
B: Alice likes to eat
fruit and vegetables. I like my pet. Alice is cute.
Dialogue
2 (Group 2). Be
ready to make your own dialogue and to act out it. Use your own words instead
of underlined ones.
A: Hi, John. What’s
the matter?
B: It’s Tom, my parrot.
A: What’s wrong with him?
B: I think my parrot
has got a broken wing.
A: Really? How?
B: I don’t know.
A: Let’s have a look at
him.
B: OK.
Dialogue
3 (Group 3). The
lines of your dialogue are mixed. Put the sentences into the order. Be ready to
act out your dialogue.
A: Goodbye. See you!
A: I’m sorry but I can’t.
I’m busy now.
B: To the Zoo. Will you go
with me?
B: It’s a pity. Goodbye,
then.
A: Where are you going,
I’d like to know?
Dialogue 4 (Group 4). Try to make up your own dialogue with the words in
your card. Be ready to act out it.

guess what animals they describe. Fill in the table.

number 1.
It is grey and big. It has
got a very long nose – a trunk and two long white teeth – tusks. It lives in
the jungle, but you can also find it at the zoo or in the circus. It doesn't
eat meat. It likes to eat leaves, vegetables, grass and fruit.

It cannot walk! It cannot fly! Why? Because it does not
have legs; it does not have wings. It can only crawl. Poor, poor creature! It
is sometimes very dangerous. What is it? (a snake)

grey. It lives on the trees. It moves, jumps, runs very quickly. It can climb
and hang by its long tail. It likes to eat plants and bananas. It is funny.

India. It has got a beautiful yellow skin with black stripes on it. It is a
very dangerous wild animal. It likes to eat meat. It hunts big animals like

legs and a long neck. It is brown. It can run fast. It can go without food and
water for a long time. It lives mostly in hot countries.

It lives in the forest. It

task is to read and translate the text.
