Методическое
сопровождение к игре «Где логика?» (Where is the logic?)
на
английском языке.
Вариант
телевизионной игры «Where is the logic?)» на
английском языке предназначен для учащихся 6х-7х классов.
Цель
игры:
повысить интерес к изучению иностранного языка, активизировать повторение ранее
усвоенного материала, закрепить приобретенные коммуникативные навыки и умения.
задачи: выявить
степень усвоения грамматического материала (порядок слов в предложении, правила
чтения, степени сравнения прилагательных), повторить лексику по темам:
достопримечательности Лондона, знаменитые люди, английская литература,
интересные места
Игра «Где логика?» (Where is the
logic?)
состоит
из отборочного тура и трех основных туров. Отборочный тур проводится со всеми
учащимися параллельных классов (20-24 человек). По итогам отборочного тура
отбираются по 6-7 человек от класса. Каждый тур состоит из 6-7 вопросов. За
каждый правильный ответ команда получает жетон. Команда, набравшая наибольшее
количество жетонов, становиться победителем игры «Where is the logic?»

1.Организационный
момент: (Приветствие)
Good
afternoon! Dear boys, girls and guests. Today we have gathered together on the
one hand to play on the other hand to remember all information about the sights
of London, the holidays, cinema and English literature. As far as you can see
you were divided into 3 teams, your home task was to think of the name and the motto
of your team. So
introduce yourselves. (Well done) команды

come to know about the rules of the game. The game consists of 3 levels. Each
level has 6-7 questions, for your right answer you will be given a score and at
the end of the game you will know the winner of the game.

Презентация Level 1 ( the sights)
I’d
like to pay your attention to these sights. They are Buckingham Palace, London
eye, the House of Parliament, the Tower Bridge, Westminster Abbey, the Tower of
London, Trafalgar square, Stonehenge. You will hear the description one of
them. Please choose the right one.
1.It
is a wonderful building. The Queen Victoria Memorial is situated in front of
it. It takes you ten minutes to get from this building to Trafalgar Square,
which is in the center of London. The Queen of G.B. lives there. (Buckingham
palace)
2. It
was a fortress, a palace, a prison and the king’s zoo. Now it is a museum. You
can see a lot of interesting things in the hall of this building. William the
Conqueror built in the eleventh century. 12 ravens live in it. (The Tower of
London)
3.
It is a long grey building with towers. This building has two Houses: the House
of Lords and the House of Commons. They make and change laws, taxes. People in
this building rule the country. (The House of Parliament)
4.
It is more than 9 hundred years old. There are many monuments and statues
there, many English kings and queens are buried there. It is famous for the
Poet’s Corner. It is one of the most famous and beautiful churches in London.
This church has 2 tall towers. (Westminster Abbey)
5.
It is one of the biggest observation wheels in the world. It was build on the
right bank of the river. It takes 30 minutes to make a full circle. But it is
the view you will never forget. The cost is about £20. (London eye)
6.
About 4.600 years ago inhabitants of Britain started building an enormous
structure. It is in the south of England. The people who started building were
primitive. They used no metal and the tools were made only of bone and wood. (Stonehenge) (за

Level 3 (the
authors and their books)
On the blackboard you see
the pictures depicting one of the American or English books and their authors. You,
choose the envelope with the description of one of the authors, read it quickly
and take it. Then in the second envelope will be the story written by this
author you, please put the story in a logical order and take the photo from the
blackboard.
“Robinson Crusoe”
– Daniel Defoe
(He is a man. He is proud of
himself. He is sitting or standing. He is wearing a blue jacket and a white
blouse. He has a wig.)
The sky is blue. The
weather is fine. The sun is shining brightly. To begin with there is a pour
man and a hand-made boat on the island. Judging by his appearance (судя
по
внешности)
he has been living there for a long time. And now he is going fishing. He is
taking a big stick. By the way he is very sad because he want to go home. I’m
very sorry for him.
“Romeo and Juliet”
-W. Shakespeare
It happened many years
ago. It was an unusual day. There was a ball in one of the palace. In one of
the central room there were many people. I can’t help mentioning about what
they were doing. Some of them were talking, but in the center of the room I see
two young people: a boy and a girl. They are dancing and I think they are in
love each other. Unfortunately they will die. I like this book.
“Jane Eyre”
-Sisters’ Bronte
(They are sisters. They are
young. Two sisters are sitting and one of them is standing. They are form rich
family.)
It is in the room. There
are three people in it. I consider that the oldest woman is a servant. Shi is
sitting at the window and waiting. Two others are friends. The eldest is Jane
and she is packing thinks because she is leaving this house. The girl next to
her is persuading her not to do it or she wants to go with her too. Jane will
be a teacher in her school. Her life will be hard but happy.
“The Pride and the
Prejudice” - Jane Austen
(She is a
middle –aged woman. She is sitting on a chair with a book in her hand.
She has a
blue dress and a lovely hat on.)
This lovely story
happened with the family in the 19th century. In this picture you
can see a woman with five daughters. They are in the living room at home and
thinking about the ball (балл).
One of the girl is sitting and others are standing. I think that the girls are
sad because they have nothing to wear. Their mother heard that a rich young man
had come in their town. Their mother believes that one of her daughters will be
engaged after the ball. And her dream will come true. I like this story.
Level 4 ( holidays)
There are three envelops in
front of you. In these envelop there is a puzzle. Make up a picture and tell
something what you know about this holiday.
So let’s do sum up. Who
is the winner?
