Lesson objectives

All learners will be able to:

-listen to the explanation about some kinds of sports and quote their names 

-recognize the names of sports/food

-make sentences using the modal verb should/shouldn’t

Most learners will be able to:

-discuss how and what kind of sports helps to our health and body

-interview your classmates about their lifestyle

-describe your lifestyle or daily routine

Some learners will be able to:

-estimate any connection or differentiation of healthy life with sport.

-debate how to preserve our way of life

– Good morning! I am very glad to see you. How are you feeling yourselves today! Let me to check your active. I’ll name you any sport game and you must interpret its playing. (basketball, football, swimming, raising the barbell, tenge alu, baige, asyk atu)

 

(W) Brainstorming  Activity 1       

Students listen to the explanation about sports and classify the names of sports they think appropriate to them. (teacher points the student, who must say only one example) After the finishing, students divide into three groups: outdoor sports, indoor sports, intellectual sports.

 

(W,f)  Content.  A question is from me and answer is from you.  Activity 2

 Revision of previous learning and introduction of the next lesson. Effective teaching methods:

 

1.       What will you do if you get a headache? – If I get a headache, I’ll take an aspirin.

2.       What will you do if you feel tired? – If I feel tired, I will stop and have a rest for half an hour

3.       What will you do if you get stressed? – If I get stressed, I will try to get more sleep.

4.       What would you do if you had enough time? – If I had enough time, I would join a gym.

5.       What would you do if you had a cold? – If I had a cold, I would stay at home.

6.       What should you do to be healthy? – I should do sport, eat only healthy food, refuse bad habits.

7.       What kind of sports do you like and why? – I like football, because I can run a lot in the fresh air. I like tennis because it is useful for our eyes and whole muscles of our body.

8.       What Kazakh national sport games do you know? – audaryspak, kokpar, asyk atu, togyz kumalak, etc.

9.       What does asyk atu develop? -  It develops such habits as accuracy and precision.

10.   What skills does togyz kumalak develop? – It develops mathematical sills.
