План – конспект урока английского
языка на тему Школа.
Тип урока: обобщающее повторение.
Цель: обобщение пройденных лексических единиц по теме во всех видах речевой
деятельности и формирование коммуникативной компетенции учащихся на основе
изученных ЛЕ, речевых и грамматических структур по теме и систематизация и
применение полученных знаний на практике (в свободном общении обучающихся).
Обучающие задачи:
— во всех видах речевой деятельности повторить и активизировать ранее
изученные лексические единицы по теме «Школа»;
- совершенствовать умения и навыка говорения и чтения;
— повторить и выявить степень освоения использования неопределенного артикля;
— актуализировать грамматические навыки использования грамматических структур
с глаголом to be в утвердительной, вопросительной и отрицательной формах в
связной речи;
— актуализировать грамматические навыки использования личных местоимений в
речи;
— повторить приветствия и прощания в разговорной речи;
Развивающие задачи:
— развивать навыки и умения во всех видах речевой деятельности;
- развивать мышление, память, умение читать текст и отвечать на вопросы,
высказывать своё мнение;
Воспитательные задачи:
— воспитывать чувство гордости за свою школу, российское образование, интерес
к
образованию как части культуры стран изучаемого
языка.
- учить слушать друг друга, работать в группе;
- воспитывать интерес к английскому языку.

I. Организационный момент
Teacher: Good morning, boys and girls.
Pupils:
Good morning, teacher.
Teacher: I’m glad to see you.
Pupils: We are glad to see you too.
Teacher: Sit down, please. Let’s begin our lesson. Answer my questions,
please. - What date is it today?
Pupil 1: Today is the 11th of October.
Teacher: Fine. What season is it now?
Pupil 2: It’s autumn.
Teacher: You are Right. What’s the weather like today?
Pupil 3: It’s warm, sunny and cloudless.
Teacher: Thank you. Olga, do you like autumn?
Pupil 4: Yes, I do.
Teacher: What can you do in autumn?
Pupil 4: I can play hide-and-seek, skip and skateboard in autumn.

Today we shall speak about school, remember the verb to be and the Indefinite
Article and get acquainted with Nikita, a schoolboy from
Kalininsk.

Teacher: So, most of you like to go to school. And now tell me what else do
you like to do at school, I mean at the lesson and during the break? Look at
the screen, choose the answer you like best and make up a
sentence.

V. Повторение грамматического материала
Teacher: And now let’s repeat PERSONAL PRONOUNS. Let’s try to remember. What
do they represent?
P1: Personal pronouns represent specific people or things.
Teacher: You are right! We use personal pronouns in place of the person or
people that we are talking about. Give examples,
please.

P1: My name is Olga. His name is Vlad. I am a pupil. He is a pupil. We are
pupils.
P2: Filat and Dan are pupils. They are schoolboys.
Teacher: Well done. Thank you. And now let’s remember what is the
indefinite article and when we use
it?

P2: The indefinite article we use with countable noun.
Teacher: You are right. And what else do we know about the indefinite
article?.
P3: We use 'a' with nouns starting with a consonant (letters that are not
vowels), 'an' with nouns starting with a vowel (a,e,i,o,u).
Teacher: You are right. Give examples.
P1: a school, an hour.
P2: a timetable, an apple…
Teacher: OK! Thank you. And let’s remember verb to be. Open your

Teacher: Let’s continue our lesson.
So,
you go to school mostly because you like to study. But you know that very
responsible pupils study even in summer. We got a letter from Nikita Molotov,
a ten years old schoolboy from Kalininsk. In his letter he described his
studies at a foreign summer school. Let’s read his letter aloud. Who wants to
be the first? Danil will start and Sasha will continue our reading.

Dear
pen friends,
My name is Nikita. I am 10. I traveled a lot this summer. In August I went
abroad. I spent two weeks in Scotland at Summer School. It was a big new
school. There were a lot of classrooms there. The classrooms were large and light.
Would you like to know what we did there?
In the morning we spent 3 hours learning English. At the lessons we read and
discussed texts, learned English poems by heart, played games, asked and
answered questions, learned new words and played computer games. But we
didn’t speak Russian because my teacher didn’t speak Russian. We also learned
about English History.
Now I speak English much better. I made a lot of friends in Scotland.
I hope you will write a letter to me and tell about your school.

summer, Liza?
Pupil 1: Nikita studied at Summer School in Scotland.
Teacher: Very good. How much time did he spend in Scotland, Igor?

Teacher: Well done! How did he spend three hours in the morning at school,
Nastya?
Pupil 3: In the morning he spent 3 hours learning English. At the lessons
they read and discussed texts, learned English poems by heart , played games,
asked and answered questions, learned new words and played computer games.
Teacher: Excellent! And the last question: Do you think he liked the school?
Pupil 4: I think he liked the school very much, because he made a lot of
friends in Scotland.
Teacher: I also think he liked his summer school very much and what about
you, do you like your school, what do you do at the lessons? Let’s write
short letters to Nikita. It will be your home task.
