по английскому языку на тему: Why throw away? Why not recycle?
Тип урока: изучение и первичное закрепление новых знаний.
Цели
урока:
Обучающие: учить правильно и бегло
говорить на английском языке на тему защиты окружающей среды; обучать письму и
чтению с разными стратегиями; обучение разносторонней работе с текстом.
Развивающие: развивать коллективный дух и
качества, необходимые для работы в группах; формировать навыки получения
информации.
Воспитательные: Прививать чувство ответственности
за нашу планету, в частности за город, в котором мы живем; воспитывать чувство
уважения к себе и одноклассникам (работа в группах).
Задачи
урока :
активизировать ранее полученные знания по теме «Защита окружающей среды»; повторить
основные принципы работы с новым текстом; познакомиться с новой лексикой по
теме и научиться воспроизводить ее в речи; формировать ЗУНы, необходимые для
работы с текстом (поиск в тексте выражений, синонимичных и антонимичных данным
в задании); продолжить обучение связной английской речи; учиться производить
рефлексию своей деятельности.
Используемые
методы:
личностно-ориентированный, частично-поисковый.

мультимедийный проектор, компьютер.

урока:

T: Good morning, dear friends. I`m glad to see you.
P: Good morning, teacher. We`re glad to see you too.
T: Sit down, please. Let`s start our lesson. Today we are
going to continue talking about the environmental problems. Look at these
pictures and say what is the topic of our lesson? That`s right. It is “Why
throw away? Why not recycle?» (Слайд )

T:
Let’s
pronounce the following words. Try to find out what environmental problem we’ll
discuss today. (Слайд )

[k] – can, domestic, container, cause, countryside, cut, suffocate
[s] – stuff, useful, waste, instead

good. And now I want you to do an excersise . Open your workbooks and write
down the date. Classwork. And now look at the screen.

T: Now look at the screen and read questions. let`s listen the
text about waste and do some tasks.
You will hear the text twice.
Too
Much Waste
In some countries, one person can make about 5 kilograms of waste every day! Where
does all this waste go?
Most waste goes to a landfill. At
a landfill, people put the waste under the ground.
Landfills are very big because we make so much waste. Most waste materials
decompose — they break down into very small pieces. Food waste decomposes fast, but some
waste materials decompose slowly.
Paper materials take from two to five months to decompose, some metal materials
take from 80 to 100 years, and plastic materials take maybe up to 1,000 years. Some
materials, like glass, never decompose. We are making more and more waste. We need more landfills, but there’s
no more land on Earth for landfills.
Our waste stays in landfills for too long, and this is bad for Earth. So we should make less waste — we
should recycle more things.
Around the world, people make up to 4 billion metric tons of waste every year.
T.: Look at the screen and check your answers.
4. Работа с текстами
T: Well done. And now the class will be divided into
two groups (учащиеся делятся на 2 группы). Look at the exercise 40 on page 53. Now, yes, we’re
going to read about rubbish. The first
group will read the text Why throw away so much?, the second group will
read the other text. Before reading look at your cards there are some words /phrases
from the text and their definitions, try to translate these words :

группы, затем отвечают).

Послетекстовые задания
T: Very good! And now the
first group will find the words or word combinations in the texts which have a
similar meaning to the following, the other group – which have the opposite
meaning to the following. You`ll do it in your copybooks. You have 5 minutes.
Ex.42 p. 51
T.: Look through the texts. Which group can finish the
sentences? (Слайд )
T.: I want
you retell the texts using the plan. (Слайд )
T: Well
done. I like your revues. And now you have 5 minutes to prepare your answers
for the questions in ex.43 on page 53 orally (Учащиеся готовят устные ответы на вопросы по текстам ).

T: So,
I liked your work today. Tell me please, why is it important to recycle the
domestic stuff?
P:
Recycling helps to save energy and to reduce pollution.
T:What
kinds of rubbish can we recycle?
P: Almost all kinds of domestic rubbish: paper, polythene,
cans, plastic.
T: Was the lesson useful for you?
P: Yes, it was. We got to know how to save energy and to
reduce pollution.
