girls! I am glad to see you here. I hope everybody is ready to work. Let`s
start.

photos can you guess where we are going to travel today?
You are right. The theme of our lesson is “The River
Thames”
2. Warming
up.
Before our travelling let's train our tongues. Look at
the board and repeat
after me. She sells seashells on the sea-shore.

do you know about the river Thames?
How can you travel?

There are different means of travelling but today we are going to travel by
ship. To make our trip more exciting we’ll use English.
Today we are having an unusual lesson. It’s a trip
down the river Thames. This river is in London. So we are the tourists who
should practice English.
5. Now
let’s turn to the text on p. 101. Look at the title of the text. What do you
think the text is about?
6. As
you have already guessed we need special words, connected to the topic. Please
open your books at WL 18. Let`s read and translate these words. Work in turn.
7. Go
to p.101 Now your task is to work with the text- read it and complete the
missing words derived from the words given.
