Then hate me when thou wilt;
if ever now;
Now, while the world is bent
my deeds to cross.
Join with the spite of
fortune, make me bow,
And do not drop in for and
after-loss:
Ah, do not, when my heart hath
scaped this sorrow.
Come in the rearward of a
conquer'd woe:
Give not a windy night a rainy
morrow,
To linger out a purposed
overthrow.
If thou wilt leave, do not
leave me last.
When other petty griefs have
done their spite,
But in the onset come: so
shall I taste
At first the very worst of
fortune's might;
And other strains of woe,
which now seems woe,
Compared with loss of thee
will not seem so.
Edmund Spenser
"Anwretty"
The merry cuckow, messenger of
spring.
His trumpet shrill hath thrice already sounded,
That wains all lovers wait upon their kings.
Who now is coming forth with girland crowned;
With noise whereof the quire of birds resounded
Their anthems sweet, devised of love's prise,
That all the woods their echoes back rebounded,
As if they knew the meaning of their lays:
But mongst them all, which did Love's honour raise.
No word has heard of Iter that most it ought.
But she his precept proudly disobeys.
And doth his idle message set at nought;
Therefore, о I.ove: unless she turn to thee
E’ cuckow end, let her a rebel be.
Ведущая: Bed Jonson "The sad Stepherd" «Любовь и смерть»
Though I am young, and cannot
tell,
Hither what Death or Hove is well.
Yet I have heard they both bear darts
And both do aim of human hearts;
And then again? I have been told,
love wounds with heat, as Death with cold;
So that I fear they do but bring
Extremes to touch, and mean one thing.
As in a ruin we it call
One thing to be blown up, or fall,
Or to our end, like way may have.
By Hash of lightning, or a wave:
So Love's in famed shaft, or brand,
May kill as soon as Death's cold hand;
Except Love's fires the virtue have
To fright the frost out of the grave.
стрелы их опасны для сердец людских;
Three filings there bee that
prosper up apace
And llourish. wildest they growe a sunder farr.
But on a day, they meet all in one place.
And when (hey meet, they one an other marr.
And they bee theisе, the wood, the weed, the
wagg.
The wood is that, which makes the Callow tree,
The weed is that, which stringers Hangmans bagg.
The wagg my pritty knave betokeneth thee.
Markc welldeare boy wildest
theisc assemble not.
Green springs the tree, hempe growes, the wagg is
wilder.
But when they meet, it makes the timper rott.
It fretts the halter, and it
choakes the childe.
Than bless thee, and beware,
and let us praye, Wee part not with thee at this meeting day.
Love at the lips was touch as
sweet as 1 could bear;
And once that seemed too much;
I lived on air,
That crossed me from sweet
things, down hill at dusk.
I had the swirl and ache from
sprays of honeysuckle.
That when they are gathered
shake dew on the knuckle.
Henry Longfellow "The
arrow and the song" «Стрела и песня».
I short an arrow into the air,
it fell to earth, I knew not where;
For, so swiftly it flew the sight could not follow it
in its flight.
I breathed a song into the air, it fell to earth, 1
knew not where.
For
who has sight to keen and strong, that it can follow the flight of a
song.
Long, long afterwards, in an
oak I found the arrow still unbroke;
And
the song from beginning to end I found again in the heart of a
friend.
William Henry Davies
"Leisure"
No
time to see, in broad daylight, streams full of stars, like skies at night; No
time to turn at Beauty's glance, and watch her feet, how they can dance.
No time to wait till her mouth can enrich that smile
her eyes began?
А poor life this if, full of care, we have no time to
stand and stare.
Gorge Lennon "I
love
her" «Я
I give her all my love that's
all I do.
And if you saw my love you'd love her too.
She gives me everything and tenderly ,
The kiss my lover brings she brings to me.
Л love like ours could never die as long as 1, have you
near me.
Bright are the stars that shine, dark is the sky,
I know this love of mine will never die.
William Blake "The little
black boy" «Маленький черный мальчик».
My mother bore me in the
southern wild,
And I am black? But o! My soul
is white;
White as an angel is the
English child.
But I am black, as if bereav'd
of light.
My mother taught me underneath
a tree,
And, sitting down before the
heat of day,
She took me on her lap and
kissed me,
And pointing to the east,
began to say:
"Look on the rising sun:
there God does live.
And gives His light, and gives
His heat away;
And flowers and trees and
beasts and men receive Comfort in morning, joy in the noonday.
And
we are put on earth a little space,
That we may learn to bear the
beams of love:
And these black bodies and this sunburnt face
Is but a cloud, and like a
shady grave.
For when our souls have learn’d the to bear,
The cloud will vanish; we shall hear His voice,
Saying: "Come out from the grove, my love and
care,
And round My golden tent like
lambs rejoice."
The Caucasus stretches below. I stand
On snowy brink of ravine quite
alone.
An eagle from summit to
heavens has flown
Аnd hovers unmoving at level of
hand.
From here I see how streams
can appear.
And menacing landslides are
ready to gear.
The cloud submissively move
under me;
The waterfalls noisily rush
through the clouds;
Below there are naked rocks
among mounds;
Dry bushes, scant moss on the
rocks you can see. Green canopies, groves are seen everywhere,
The birds there twitter and
deers run there.
My uncle keeps to honest
systems:
By falling ill without jest,
He made me love him with
insistence.
And could invent yet nothing
best.
Well, his example gives a
lesson,
Butt, goodness me, it's so
stressing
To sit with him all day and
night,
Not stepping out of the sight!
And what insidiousness you
show
When you amuse half dead a
man.
Arrange his pillows and then
You give him drugs in sadness?
Though You sign, but think for
own whim: “When will the devil come for him!”

The thought is known
everywhere.
That flattery is bad and vile,
but all in vain,-
The evil llnds a corner in the
heart again.
A Crow's got from god a piece
of cheese somewhere.
And now sitting on a branch,
The Crow's going to have its
tasty lunch.
But, lost in thoughts, the
Crow keeps in beak its booty.
Unlikely, a box is looking for
a rooty.
She has been stopped by odour
of cheese,
She Stares hard upon the
cheese, she's caught by cheese.
The cheat is nearing the tree
on it's tiptoe,
She wags her brush not taking
stare off the Crow.
She's sweetly speaking to the
Crow's heart:
"My dear,
you are so smart!
Your neck is nice, your eyes
are vivid!
Who hasn't seen he can't
believe it!
What pretty feathers, lovely
beak you have!
And the voice of angel you
undoubtedly have!
You sing without shame! If,
such a pretty being,
You also, my friend, arc
expert at the singing.
You'd be the
King of birds, I'm feeling!
The Crow's now dizzy at the
praising words. With joy the breath is stifling in the throat. As if in answer
to the faithless Fox's words The Crow's croaking with all the Crow's throat.
The cheese is down box with it runs away.
An old Monkey's eyes are weak,
they need some care. She heard from people everywhere. That such an injury is
always so scant, If you have spectacles at hand.
She got by chance some pretty
spectacles somewhere. This way and that she makes a try At hooking them on
tail, at putting them on crown. She licks and smells, but then she puts them
down: They don't work. - who knows why!
Damn it! lie is a foolish guy.
Who listens to the people's lie. About glasses they were lying, But 1 have no
use of them".
And being sad, restraining own crying,
On stone so whacks all them,
That smallest parts of them are flying.
Alas! flic same occurs among
the men: If an ignorant one can't estimate a gem, lie often speaks of it in
scornful manner. And if this churl is noble such man Is getting rid of it
forever.
A flying fidget Dragon-fly in
the summer's gaily singing, Of the future isn't thinking, but the winter's
nearby, field was green, it now reddish, happy days already vanished, And it
happens no more, that a leaf gives roof and store. All has gone. In cold winters
want and hunger wait afore. Dragon-fly sings no more: who would like to sing
yet more, If the hungry belly hinders.
She is crawling in dismay to
the Ant's not far away.
Dear
Crony, don't leave me, I'll be strong, you may believe me! But to manage winter
storms give me food, a bit of warmth.
Oh, my dear, it's very queer!
Did you work in summer here?
But in summer I was busy: in
the pleasant grass we'd had Many plays and songs ahead; very often 1 was dizzy.
Ah, you mean...
I made a hit: All the summer I
was singing...
You
were singing. Well done dealing! Now dance a little bit!
То vineyard hungry Fox has come
upon a time.
The grapes in bunches glow
there.
At them the Fox with greedy
eyes began to stare.
And juicy grapes in bunches
all like rubies shine.
But trouble is they are too
high suspended.
From any side she nears up to
them.
They all are splendid
The tooth lacks them.
She lost much time, but such miscarry!
She has to get
away, and says in nasty mood:
It's seeming to be good.
I hadn't seen a riping berry.
Your teeth would ache from
such a food!
