  The theme of the project is historical memory of the grateful descendants about the heroes of the Great Patriotic war who defended our Fatherland in that horrible war.

  The topicality
  The topicality of the project is connected with the fact that some ideologists try to revise the value of the victory of Soviet people in the Great Patriotic war and underestimate the value of this victory for the whole world. Our project is the demonstration of young people’s attitude towards the Great Patriotic war and the defenders of our Fatherland.

  The hypothesis: We suppose that though the defenders of our native city didn’t proclaim the motto of their life as “Benefit, honour and glory”, nevertherless learning of their heroic deeds gives us the right to judge them as people of great honour and glory.

  3)To study and describe the street named after vice-admiral Fadyeev.
  4)To do a survey around the residents of Fadyeev street «Do you now who vice-admiral Fadyeev was and why the street was named after him».

  Vice-admiral Fadyeev has become for us a visible image of benefit , honor and glory. During the Great Patriotic war he personally commanded the operations of the mine fields, solved the problems of the naval base defense of Sevastopol and ensured the stable regime in the area. He assumed the great operative and strategic importance of the Crimean peninsula and did everything possible to stop the enemy.

  One of the street in Sevastopol is named after vice- admiral Fadyeev. It is one of the most beautiful streets in Sevastopol. Fadyeev Street is situated in Gagarin district, at the western shore of Streletskaya Bay. It starts from Neustroyev Square and stretches up to Stepanyan street. This street appeared at the city map on the 6th of May 1980 when the City Council took the decision to rename it after the legendary defender of Sevastopol vice- admiral Fadyeev. There is the school №23, a kindergarten, a lot of high buildings and several supermarkets. The street is especially beautiful in spring, when there are a lot of greenery.
