внеклассного мероприятия
The
music from the film “Over there towards the unknown paths” (Там
на
неведомых
дорожках)
is playing. The pupils come into the classroom and take their seats.
Good
afternoon, dear students!
Is
this melody familiar to you? Did you recognize the film which this sound track
is from? That’s correct. This music is from a well-known film “Over
there towards the unknown paths”.
Now
we are going to play the game “Treasure”, we’ll find it and we’ll learn the
topic of our party.

Draw the grid for the game on the blackboard. ‘Hide’
the treasure in any way you like, eg vertically, horizontally, diagonally, in
an L-shape as long as all three squares of each piece of treasure are touching.
The pupils should take turns to ask questions to find
treasure.
Eg. Have you got treasure in 70f? Yes, no.
When the pupils find the treasure, the teacher show a
nice big box.
What is there inside? The
teacher opens the box and shows the stuff. There are a lot of video discs in
the box.
So, as you have already guessed, these are
video films and the theme of our party is cinema in our life.
I’d like to tell you some interesting
facts about cinema.
2. Here are some interesting facts about
Russian and foreign films:
The spreading of cinematography in Russia
started with the demonstration of the Lumiere brothers’ film in May 1896 in St.
Petersburg and Moscow and later in Nizhniy Novgorod. The first sound films
simultaneously appeared in three countries, the USSR, the USA and Germany at
the end of the 1920’s. In October 1929 the first sound cinema house started its
work.
The 1970s saw the emergence of a range of
films which won international attention.
Now film industry in Russia is rapidly
developed. More than 20 films are produced every year.
The international cinema day is celebrated on the
27th of August

5.
Well, you have a profound knowledge of the Russian films.
Now,
please, let’s do the quiz.
1. Name three films about animals.
2. Name three film that have
numerals in the title.
3. Name three film that have
geographical names in the title.
6. Wonderful. You have been good at this assignment too.
How about doing a puzzle. I’ll divide the class into 2
groups and give you 2 pictures, you should sort them out as quickly as possible.
7. Film of the story.
Dear children! A famous film company is
planning to produce new up-to-date versions of traditional stories as films and
they are looking for ideas. You need to think about the title, the stars, the
location, possible changes to the story, the music.
I will introduce a necessary vocabulary:
We are going to make (name of the story)
into a film. The title is going to be… The location is going to be… … is going
to star as…
The time limit is 10 minutes.
Then the students present their ideas to the class.
I’d like to end up our party with the
quotation:
Cinema
should make you forget you are sitting in a theater.
Thank you for your
taking an active part in our non-academic lesson.
