Внеклассное мероприятие по английскому языку 5 классов

Урок-путешествие « Around the world» (Вокруг света).

Учитель английского языка: Раджабова М. И.

Учащимся предоставляется возможность побыть путешественниками, познакомиться с традициями и обычаями англоязычных стран. Выполняя задания, которые встречаются на пути, тренируют навыки диалогической и монологической речи.

Цель мероприятия: закрепить знания в области страноведения, лексики, грамматики английского языка.

Задачи мероприятия:

Воспитательные:
1 Воспитание у молодого поколения толерантного открытого восприятия мира;
2 Воспитание уважительного отношения к другой культуре и осознание своей через контекст культуры англо-говорящих стран.

Развивающие:
1 Развитие творческих способностей учащихся;
2 Развитие способности к выбору выражений адекватных ситуации общения.

Познавательные:
1 Знакомство с чертами американцев, британцев, австралийцев и т д;
2  Ознакомление учащихся с новыми знаниями.

Учебные:
1 Развитие умения понимать детали сказанного.

Оборудование: карта мира; презентации в формате PowerPoint; видеоприложение, наглядное пособие по теме. костюмы

Ход мероприятия:

1.      Организационный момент (2 минуты)

(Цель: настроить детей на работу; ввести в атмосферу иноязычной речи, погрузить в языковую среду);

Марьям – Good afternoon, dear friends!
 - Welcome to our party of English speaking countries.
 – Modern life is impossible without traveling. Thousands of people travel every day either on business or for pleasure. We can travel by air, by rail, by sea, or by road or even on foot. We’ll visit some countries and cities by plane. You are on a board now. Let me introduce me myself and my partner. My name is Maryam. I’ll be your stewardess. And this is Kurban. He’ll be our pilot

Курбан - Добрый день, дорогие друзья!

- Добро пожаловать на наше мероприятие, посвященное  англоговорящим странам.

– Современная жизнь невозможна без путешествий. Тысячи людей ежедневно путешествуют по делам или ради удовольствия. Мы можем путешествовать по воздуху, по железной дороге, по морю, по автотрассе или даже пешком. Мы посетим некоторые страны и города на самолете. . Позвольте представить себя и моего партнера. Ее зовут Марьям. Она будет  стюардессой. А я Курбан. Я сегодня ваш пилот.

1.Марьям-  The first stop “The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland”

Great Britain

The United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland consists of England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. There are 64 million people in Great Britain whose first language is English (97% of population). London, the capital of Great Britain, is one of the leading global cities. It is the political, economic and cultural centre of the country. Great Britain has always been a Great Power and contributed a lot to the development of new territories. (видео)

Марьям- Great Britain is famous for its traditional English tea drinking. And do you know the history of tea and this tradition?

 Курбан-  Великобритания славится своим традиционным английским чаепитием.

А знаете ли вы историю возникновения чая и этой традиции.  Ученики нашего класса покажут вам сценку про то, как впервые был завезен чай в Англию.

Story teller: Once there lived an old woman. She had the only son who was
a sailor. He often sailed to India and every time he returned to Britain from a far­
away country he brought her something unusual, that she could show to her
friends.

Рассказчик: Жила-была старуха. У нее был единственный сын, который был моряком. Он часто плыл в Индию и каждый раз возвращаясь в Британию из далекой  страны, он привозил маме  что-то необычное, что она могла показать своим друзьям.

Вернулся сын домой с плавания.
The woman’s son appears.
Woman: My dear son, here you are! How are you? I was missing you so
badly!

Son: Hello mom. I’m fine, thanks. I’ve brought a nice present for you.
Woman: Oh, how interesting! What is this?
Son: It’s a box of tea. It’s very popular in the East. It is food.
Woman: What a flavouring smell. I’ll invite my friends tomorrow to try out
what it is.
On the next day. In the room the table is laid for dinner.
Friends (coming in): Hello. Glad to see you. 
Woman: Oh you are welcome! Please, come in, come in. Feel at ease!
F1: How many things you have cooked!
F2: Roast beef and roast turkey!
F3: And so many salads. They seem to be so delicious.
Woman: Help yourself to tea leaves.
F1: And what’s this? I’ve never seen such food.
F2: I also have never tasted it.
F3 (with the face showing unsatisfaction): It’s very tasty, just fantastic.
F1 (putting leaves on a piece of bread): M… m… m… It’s really lovely.
The smell is so delicious.
The woman’s son comes.
Son: Hello. What are you doing? (in surprise)
Woman: We are having tea for lunch.
Son: No, no those are only the leaves of tea. Where is the water?
Woman: But I don’t know how to cook it.
Son: Nothing particular. Just put tea leaves into the pot and pour hot water
into it. In five minutes it will be ready. Believe me, you’ll enjoy it greatly. 

Рассказчик: Мать не поняла как используют листья чая. Она приготовила салат из них, который не оказался по вкусу гостям. Сын объяснил, что листья следует заваривать для приготовления чая.

Вот и наш гость из Британии покажет вам как заваривать настоящий английский чай.

How to make English tea. Как заваривать английский чай. 
1. Fill the kettle with the cold water. Наполни чайник холодной водой.
2. Boil the water. Вскипятите воду.
3. Pour the water in the teapot. Налейте воды в заварник.
4. Pour the milk into the cup. Налейте молоко в чашку.
5. Place the tea strainer over the top of the teacup and pour the tea in.
Add some sugger.

Поместите ситечко на чашку, налейте чай и добавьте сахар по вкусу.
That’s all ­you have a nice cup of English tea. Это всё, что нужно для
заваривания чая.

The history of the USA started with 13 British colonies set along the Atlantic coast. On July, 4, 1776 they proclaimed their independence from Great Britain. Today the country consists of 50 states and the federal District of Columbia, where Washington, the capital of the USA, is located. The first European colonists came to this country from France. But after that for many years Canada was under British rule until the country gained its independence in the XX century. There are two official languages in Canada. English is the first language for nearly 70% of Canadians. Canada is the second largest country in the world with rich oil, coal and natural gas fields. Australia is the only country in the world which occupies the whole continent. The exploration of the continent began in the late XVIII century when the first British colonies were formed. Australia was a place where prisoners were serving their sentences in exile. Today the country is among the most developed countries in the world, with 80% of the population speaking Australian English.

New Zealand

New Zealand occupies two large islands and many small ones in the south-western part of the Pacific Ocean. First Europeans started visiting New Zealand in the late XVIII century with the territory being announced as a British colony in 1788. The country gained its independence in the middle of the XX century. New Zealand is one of the most beautiful countries in the world with unique flora and fauna. India is located in South Asia. Geographically, it is one of the largest states in the world, and in terms of population and ranks second all .

I am going to tell you about South Africa, one of the English speaking countries.

Southerly Africa, officially Republic of South Africa, is situated at the southern tip of the continent of Africa.

The population of the country is about 44 million people.

As to the ethnic groups there are 76 % black people, 14 % white people.

The capital is Pretoria. Cape Town is the legislative centre and Bloemfontein the judicial centre.

South Africa became self-governing on May, 31, 1910. (видео)

Japan is a country of striking contrast of beautiful traditional ambiance alongside bustling urban centers. It has something for everyone. Japan is a country located in Northeast Asia not very far from Korea or from China.. Japan is an island nation and Japanese people will remind you of that at every opportunity by the way. Of course the language of Japan is Japanese. The capital city and largest city in Japan is Tokyo which is a huge bustling world-class city with a population of about 9 million. English in Japan is highly regarded. (видео)

Марьям- Origami is a ancient Japanese art of folding of various figures from paper. Translated from Japanese origami means "folded paper".

Курбан- Оригами- представляет собой древнее японское искусство складывания различных фигурок из бумаги. В переводе с японского оригами означает  «сложенная бумага».

Ученица нашего класса тоже интересуется оригами. Представляем ее работы.

Марьям-Travelling by plane is very fast and convenient. And we needn’t so much time come back home.  say together: “East or West – Home is Best”.
