по английскому языку в 5 классе
Great Britain and America. Are there any differences between
them?
Цель мероприятия:
ознакомление учащихся с англо-говорящими
странами;
сравнение двух культур – Великобритании и США;
формирование чувства уважения к стране
изучаемого языка
Общеобразовательные задачи мероприятия:
Сформировать у
детей представление о стране изучаемого языка
Воспитательные задачи:
Развить умение работать в группах;
Привить уважение к иноязычным странам
Развивающие задачи:
Развить
наблюдательность и внимание.
Ход мероприятия:
Teacher: Good morning, children! Today we are going to have an unusual lesson.
You were divided into two groups. First group – British, second one – Americans.
Now, please make your groups. So, we see British and Americans. We also see a
jury, which is going to estimate you.
So,
let s start introduce your country. Start from British.
Please,
king, tell us the name of your team and your motto.
British king: our team – “British dragons”,
Our
motto – we are the best, best, best, best, best, best,
We
are just the British, we are just the best!!!
Teacher: thank you, now, please tell us the poem about your country.
(One
of the British tells the poem).
Teacher: now, please,
give us some information about Great Britain.
( British
tell Americans about their country).
Teacher: we thank our
British friends for the information. And now, we would like to listen to our American
representatives. They are going to tell us about their country. Please,
president, tell us the name of your team and your motto.
American president: our team – “American children”,
Our
motto – American children are the best in the world,
They
keep everything in hold!!!
Teacher: thanks to
Americans for the introduction, now please, tell the poem about your country.
(One
of the Americans tells the poem).
Teacher: now, please,
give us some information about America.
(
Americans tell British about their country).
Teacher: we thank
Americans for the information. And now, each team is going to show a
presentation about their country. Let s start from the British presentation.

and now, your presentation, Americans.

Teacher: we thank both
teams for the interesting information about countries. Now, let s check
attention each of team. You should decipher a crossword concerning with the
information which was given by the opposite team.
(Each
team gets a crossword and begins to decipher it).
Teacher: now, our jury
checks your crosswords and then tells you results. While they are doing it, I
ll ask you some questions.
(Teacher
asks questions to both teams in order to check their attention).
Jury: so, we
watched your reports, your presentation, checked your crosswords and came to
conclusion that each team was very active, attentive and coped with their task.
So the friendship won. Thanks to everybody.
