Цели обучения иностранному языку на современном этапе
Воспитательный аспект обучения предполагает формирование у учащихся мировоззрения, патриотизма, нравственности, ответственности за себя и происходящее вокруг, а также эстетическое и духовное развитие личности.
Образовательный аспект предполагает приобретение знаний о культуре страны или стран изучаемого языка, включая литературу, музыку, архитектуру, живопись, историю и т.д., а также знаний о строе языка, его системе, характере, особенностях, сходстве и различии с родным; удовлетворение личных познавательных интересов в любой из сфер своей деятельности.
Развивающий аспект обеспечивает осознание средств выражения мыслей, как люди произносят, какие слова употребляют для номинации предметов, сравнение и сопоставление явлений родного и иностранного языков, развитие чувства языка, языковой догадки, памяти во всех её видах, логики (анализа, синтеза, сравнения, умозаключения), развитие сенсорного восприятия, мотивационной сферы, умения общаться, таких черт характера, как трудолюбие, воля, целеустремлённость, активность, умение учиться.

Задачи урока
Познакомить учащихся с видами транспорта.
Отработать употребление предлогов места.
Тренировать учащихся во всех видах речевой деятельности.
Учебные пособия: Предметные картинки по теме “Транспорт”, “Город”. Карточки со словами.
План урока
I. Организационный момент.
- Let’s begin our lesson. I want you to greet our guests. Will you tell them “Hello”. Good afternoon, pupils. I am glad to see all of you. Sit down, please. And now some questions to begin with.
- What day is it today?
(Today is Friday.)
- What date is it today?
(Today is the 15th of April.)
- What season is it now?
(It is spring now.)
- Do you like spring?
(Yes, I do.)
- Is it May now?
(No, it isn’t. It is April now.)
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
- Let’s revise some sounds. Will you read them?
- Let’s pronounce these sounds together. And now some words with these sounds.
[ ], [r], [n], [l], [t] – there is, there are, on the left, on the right, near, in the middle of, behind, in front of, on the corner.
III. Речевая зарядка (по картинке “Город”).
- Look at this picture, please. You can see a big supermarket, an old church, a charming cafe, a beautiful park and a pet shop. Your task is - agree or disagree with my statements.
- There is a charming cafe on the corner of the street.

- There is a church near the cafe.
(No, there is no church near the cafe. There is a pet shop near the cafe.)
- In front of the church there is a supermarket.
(Yes, there is a supermarket in front of the church.)
- We have revised some prepositions of place. What are they?
(On the corner, near, in front of, behind, on the left, on the right.)
IV. Проверка домашнего задания.
- And now open your activity books and let’s check your hometask - AB – ex.1, p.44. Your task was to fill in the right prepositions. Read the first sentence, please.

V. Введение новой лексики.
a) - Now we are going to discuss our new topic “Means of Transport”. There are different ways of travelling around a city and between cities and countries – look at the blackboard, please. Now your classmates are going to describe you different means of transport and you are to guess which mean of transport is described and we are to fill a kind of table “Transport Type”: road, rail, sea and air transport type. Is it clear?

It is a bus. The bus has got 4 or 6 wheels. It carries people around towns and cities.
It is a bike. It has got 2 wheels. It can carry 1 or 2 people.
It is a trolley. The trolley looks like a bus but it uses electricity.
It is a plane. It has got wings. It can fly. It is very fast and comfortable(удобный, комфортабельный).
It is a train. The train is comfortable. It carries a lot of people from town to town. It is very fast.
It is a car. It has got 4 wheels. It can carry 4 or 5 people. It is very convenient(удобно) to have a car.
It is a ferry. It can sail. It is slow.
- Will you read road transport type?
( A bus, a bike, a car.)
- What about rail transport type?
(A trolley and a train.)
- And sea and air?
(A ferry and a plane.)
VI. Физминутка.
- Let’s rest. Stand up, please. Hands up. Hands down. Sit down. Stand up. Turn left. Turn right. Clap your hands. Sit down.

- Now let’s read all means of transport once more.
c) тренировка лексики.
- Open your books at page 170, ex. 2. Here is a story about different vehicles. Vehicles mean the same as means of transport (средства транспорта). I give you 2 minutes to read the whole story.
- And now change the story to make it a poem. Take your pencils and write down all necessary words above the lines.

- Listen to the original poem and correct the mistakes if you have any.
