Цели и задачи учебной дисциплины – требования к результатам освоения учебной дисциплины:

В результате освоения учебной дисциплины обучающийся должен знать:

  • значения новых лексических единиц, связанных с тематикой данного этапа и с соответствующими ситуациями общения;

  • языковой материал: идиоматические выражения, оценочную лексику, единицы речевого этикета, фразы согласия и несогласия, сравнения и сопоставления, речевые клише, позволяющие строить диалогическую и монологическую речь в соответствии с правилами дискурса и обслуживающие ситуации общения в рамках изучаемых тем;

  • новые значения изученных глагольных форм (видо-временных, неличных), средства и способы выражения модальности; условия, предположения, причины, следствия, побуждения к действию;

  • лингвострановедческую, страноведческую и социокультурную информацию, расширенную за счет новой тематики и проблематики речевого общения;

  • тексты, построенные на языковом материале повседневного и профессионального общения, в том числе инструкции и нормативные документы по специальностям СПО.

В результате освоения учебной дисциплины обучающийся должен уметь:

  • вести диалог (диалог–расспрос, диалог–обмен мнениями/суждениями, диалог–побуждение к действию, этикетный диалог и их комбинации) в ситуациях официального и неофициального общения в бытовой, социокультурной и учебно-трудовой сферах, используя аргументацию, эмоционально-оценочные средства;

Machine-tools are used to shape metals and other materials. The material to be shaped is called the workpiece. Most machine-tools are now electrically driven. LATHE

Lathe is still the most important machine-tool. It produces parts of circular cross-section by turning the workpiece on its axis and cutting its surface with a sharp stationary tool. That allows continuous rotation of the workpiece at a variety of speeds. Now scientists in many countries are developing bigger telescopes that will enable astronomers to look deeper into the comers of the universe. The main principle of a telescope is: the larger the mirror, the clearer and brighter the reflected image will be.

The world's largest optical telescope is in the North Caucasus at 2,100 metres above the sea level. It was designed and created at the Leningrad Optical and Mechanical Association (LOMO). The main part of the telescope is the mirror which is six metres in diameter and weighs 42 tons. The mirror's area is about 30 square metres and it has been polished to the highest degree of accuracy. The telescope is housed in a tower with a revolving 1,000-ton dome.

Many countries have developed large-size optical telescopes in the recent 30 years, but this telescope is the most powerful. The following gives an idea of what the telescope can do. With this telescope a candle flame can be seen from a distance of 25,000 km. Its power is 40-50 million. times greater than that of a naked eye. With this telescope astronomers can investigate the most remote bodies in the universe. It will help to solve many important scientific problems, thus making a great contribution to the mankind's knowledge. Astronomers have used the telescope to take several unique photographs of Stars. The development of this unique telescope is a great achievement of Russian science and technology.

NEW TECHNOLOGY EXHIBITION

The "New Technology Exhibition" is devoted to economic and social developments. Its exhibits show efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of the region production. A large section of the exhibition demonstrates electronics.

The most impressive of the exhibits are robots. They can cut metals, drill holes, compute and teach. All robots are very much things of the present. A multipurpose lathe-robot is specially interesting in that it can "ask questions". An engineer showed how it works. He pressed a key which has the mark "Thread cutting". And "Thread pitch?" immediately appeared on the video display screen. The engineer pressed another key with the mark "I". Another question came on: "Thread length?" The robot has to get all the answers to all its questions before it goes to work.

Another exhibit is a robot which is to operate some metallurgical processes. Before it starts working its operator must take him by "hand" and go through all the programme. The robot memorizes the instructions and then is able to do everything by itself and without any mistakes. Its memory can hold as many as 70 programmes.

Practically all the equipment on display serves to improve the productivity. The exhibition programme provides for high increase in production of technologically perfect, top-quality and efficient types of machinery.

Оценка «5» ставится в том случае, если 95% задания выполнено правильно.

Оценка «4» ставится в том случае, если количество правильных ответов

составляет не менее 80%.

Оценка «3» ставится в том случае, если выполнено не менее 60% задания.

Оценка «2» ставится в том случае, если выполнено менее 60% задания












Монологическое высказывание.

Оценка «5» ставится студенту, если он в целом справился с поставленными речевыми задачами. Его высказывание было связным и логически последовательным. Диапазон используемых языковых средств достаточно широк. Языковые средства были правильно употреблены, практически отсутствовали ошибки, нарушающие коммуникацию, или они были незначительны. Объем высказывания соответствовал тому, что задано программой. Наблюдалась легкость речи и достаточно правильное произношение. Речь студента была эмоционально окрашена, в ней имели место не только передача отдельных фактов, но и элемент их оценки, выражения собственного мнения.

Оценка «4» выставляется студенту, если он в целом справился с поставленными речевыми задачами. Его высказывание было связанным и последовательным. Использовался довольно большой объем языковых средств, которые были употреблены правильно. Однако были сделаны отдельные ошибки, нарушающие коммуникацию. Отмечалось произношение, страдающее сильным влиянием родного языка. Речь была недостаточно эмоционально окрашена. Элементы оценки имели место, но в большей степени высказывание содержало информацию и отражало конкретные факты.

Оценка «3» ставится студенту, если он сумел в основном решить поставленную речевую задачу, но диапазон языковых средств был ограничен, объем высказывания не достигал нормы. Студент допускал ошибки. В некоторых местах нарушалась последовательность высказывания. Практически отсутствовали элементы оценки и выражения собственного мнения. Речь не была эмоционально окрашена.

Оценка «2» ставится студенту, если он только частично справился с решением коммуникативной задачи. Высказывание было небольшим по объему. Отсутствовали элементы собственной оценки. Студент допускал большое количество ошибок.
