Тема:
«My hometown»
Цели урока:
Образовательная:
- расширить знания о
своём родном городе.
Развивающая:
- развивать
лингвистические способности учащихся (внимание, наблюдательность, память,
языковую догадку, речь);
- развивать
познавательный интерес учащихся;
- расширять кругозор
учащихся.
Воспитательная:
- воспитывать
уважительное отношение и любовь к родному городу.
Практическая:
- развивать навыки
владения лексическим материалом по теме урока.
Оборудование

- учебник;
- рабочая тетрадь;
- раздаточный
материал (карточки с заданием);
- доска, мел;
- мультимедийная
установка.
Ход урока.
I. Организационный момент.
- Good afternoon! I am glad
to see you. Sit down, please. What is the topic of our lesson? Do you know?
Let’s guess it. Do you like puzzles? Let’s do it. Match the Russian and the
English words (соотнести русские и английские слова).

- Make up the word out of the
underlined letters (составить слово из выделенных букв). The topic of our lesson is “Hometown”. Today we’ll
repeat the words on the topic “Town” and we’ll make up the story about our
hometown.
II. Фонетическая зарядка.
- Let’s start our lesson with
the words on the topic “Town”. Listen to me, repeat after me and translate the
words (прослушать, повторить и перевести слова).
museum – музей;
park – парк;
bus stop – автобусная остановка;
library – библиотека;
theatre – театр;
hospital – больница;
pet shop – зоомагазин;
cinema – кинотеатр;
pizza restaurant – пиццерия;
supermarket – супермаркет;
café – кафе;

toy shop – магазин игрушек;
shopping centre – торговый центр.
III. Речевая разминка.
- I’ll show you the pictures
and you answer the question: “What is it?”, using the construction it is a …
and match the pictures with the words (посмотреть на
картинки и ответить на вопрос «Что это такое?» и соотнести картинки со словами). (см. Приложение №1)

IV. Отработка слов в предложениях.
- Look at pictures on the
blackboard. Answer the question: “What is there in your hometown?” Look at the
cards with the sentences. Fill in the gaps with the words is/are (заполнить пропуски в предложениях словами is/are). (см. Приложение №2)

VI. Составление рассказа о своём родном городе.
- Look at the cards with the
pictures and the beginning of the sentences. Your task is finish the sentences (заменить картинки словами и закончить
предложения). (см.
Приложение №3)
I live in Shakhty.
My hometown has got a lot of
interesting places: a museum, a theatre and a cinema.
There are many supermarkets,
toy shops and pet shops in my hometown.
I like going to the shopping
centre.
There is a beautiful park
in my hometown.
I like visiting the funfair
with my friends.
I like going to a café
or a pizza restaurant with my family.
I go to school № 27.
I get on the bus № 56 at the bus
stop.
I like visiting the library.
My hometown has got a hospital.
I love the people in
my hometown, they are very friendly.
I love my hometown, it
is the best place to live.
VII. Подведение итога урока.
- Our lesson is coming to its
end. Today we have repeated the words on the topic “My hometown” and make up
the story about our hometown.
Open your diaries and write
down your hometask, AB p.111, ex.10, make up the story about your hometown (составить рассказ о своём родном городе).
