Тема: «Education in English-speaking countries».
Цель: активизация творческих способностей и языковых возможностей учащихся на уроках английского языка.
Задачи: развить коммуникативную компетенцию обучающихся, расширить представление о школах Британии, США и Австралии.
Учебник «Enjoy English 7» М. З. Биболетова.
Оборудование: доска, учебник, компьютер, экран, проектор, карточки, раздаточный материал.
Орг.момент: Good morning, boys and girls. Have a seat. I'm glad to see you. Answer my questions.
- Who is on duty today?
- What date is it today?
- What day of the week is it today?
- Who is absent today?
Let's begin our lesson.
Речевая разминка: Answer my questions.
How old are you?
Are you a student?
What form are you in?
Who else is in 7th form?
What is your favorite subject in school and why?
Do you wear a school uniform?
Do you like it?
What type of school uniforms would you like to wear?
Do we need a school uniform?
Look at the screen. Read the words after me. Translate. Look at the words and flags and tell me what do you think about the theme of our lesson?
Now, open your books at page 71. You must work with the exercise 45. At first you must listen, repeat after me, read a poem and answer a few questions.
Translate a few words from our poem. What does it mean point-кончик, ink-чернила, sawdust-опилки?
Read the first row… second… third.
Answer my questions. What about the title of the poem? What is a poem about?
Several students in your form have prepared reports on schooling in England and the United States. They want to show us their works.

Д/З. And what about your homework? Оpen your books at page 75. Look at the Exercise 66. You read the text about Australia at home. Australia is the smallest continent. It includes a lot of islands. And the distance education is very popular in Australia. Now answer my questions.

There are two sentences in the passive voice in the text. First, we must review information about this grammar. So, a piece of grammar. Look at the screen and answer.
What do you know about the passive voice? What does it mean?
What do we need for the passive voice? Look at the screen and on the blackboard.( We need the verb to be, and the verb in the 3 form.)
What forms of the verb to be do you know? Look at the table.
Read the sentences and translate.
Now you must take the card and transform active into the passive voice.
Collect your works.

- Let's turn to our work now.
Оpen your books at page 74. Look at the Exercise 60. Read the task. You can see the passive voice in one of the tasks. What is it?
Read and translate. Listen to the text and complete the sentences.
What can you say about the school uniform in Hampton Private school? Listen.
Look at the screen and repeat. Write short dialogues about your school uniform. Who wants to answer?
