Цели и задачи урока: Совершенствование грамматических навыков употребления в речи структур Present Perfect, Present/Past/ Future Simple, Present/Past Progressive, to be going to; формирование лексических навыков по теме «Достопримечательности Лондона».

Сопутствующая задача: развитие речевого умения (диалогическая и монологическая формы речи).

- Good morning, children!

- I’m glad to see you today. Today  some guests are present at our lesson. How are you today?

T: Good of you. You learn English, but what is the capital of England?  (Слайд №1)

P: The capital of England is London.

T: That’s right. Do you know  the sights of London? Can you help me to tell  the topic of our lesson?

P: A trip about London.

T: OK. Excellent. Today we are going to speak about the places of interest in London.

Today we will speak about London, the capital of Great Britain. I hope you will learn a lot of new things about this city.

But we should get there.  First let’s find these cities on a map. (Слайд №4  карта мира дети показывают путь Москва-Лондон)

And I don’t know what kind of transport can help us get to London. Let us choose kind of transport. (Слайд № 5 самолет)

P: We will get there   by plane from Moscow to London.

T: OK. All on the board of our plane. (Дети закрывают глаза под звуки самолета представляют, что они летят в самолете. (Слайд №6 - аэропорт Внуково и аэропорт Хитроу)

T: Let’s us open eyes and we are in London now at the airport Hithrow. Let us choose a transport. What mean of transport can we use now?

T: Excellent. All on the board. My dear children let’s begin our excursion.

1. Marie and Mark are going to take a bus tour of London. Clare is giving them some advice.

1) What is the best way to see London? (listening for the main idea)

— We are taking a tour of London.

— That’s nice. The best place to go is the London Eye.

— The London Eye? What’s that?

— For tourists it’s our famous attraction. It’s a big wheel. It’s very high, about 140 metres.

— Oh, it could be interesting.

— It is very interesting and exciting. From the top you can see: Big Ben, Buckingham Palace, 36 bridges on the Thames, 3 airports, 13 stadiums and a lot of other places.

— That’s fine. We’ll start our tour with the London Eye then.

2. After the London Eye, the children went to the Tower of London.
