                  Organizational moment  

Teacher greets students; students respond the greeting and take their places. Children look at the pictures and guess the animals from the body parts. They complete the sentences with the names of the animals.

Speaking practice:

1.      Look at the film poster. Listen and repeat. Watching a video.

 

What animals do you recognize from the film? Do you

their names?

 

Vocabulary: director, feature, evil, protect, Baloo - bear, Bagheera – panther, Akela-wolf, Kaa-snake, Ape-king Louie,  Shere –Khan- tiger (visual aids)

Read the text to find some more information about this film (Think Pair Share) (5.R6)

 Answer the questions

1 What is the name of the film?

2 Who is the director?

3 Which actors are in the film?

4 Who are the characters in the film?

5 What is the film like?

 

Look at the picture and fill the gaps (pair work)

Can you think of other films with animals? (5.C8)

 

Ss choose their favourite wild animal and say some facts about it. (pair work)

Alternatively, children were given a blank mind map and write their ideas in the spaces. Prompt their ideas with general questions about lions, e.g. What do they look like? Where do they live? What do they eat? Why do you like this animal?
