Тема урока: «Летний отдых»

Цель урока: совершенствование языковой компетенции посредствой использования в устной речи лексико-грамматического материала третьего модуля по теме: “Travel time”.

Задачи урока:

Образовательные:

·       развитие навыков восприятия иноязычной речи;

·       развитие навыков устной речи.

Развивающая:

·       развитие памяти, внимания, логического мышления;

·       развитие рефлексии.

Воспитательная:

·       воспитывать желание к познанию;

·       воспитывать умение общаться, взаимодействовать в команде.

Личностные: формирование познавательных мотивов обучающихся

Регулятивные: Планирование алгоритма построения работы с партнеров в диалоге

Match them with the explanations in the folder on your desks. А теперь посмотрите на экран. Соотнесите виды летнего отдыха с их определением на листочках в ваших папках. 3	Просит распределить все виды отдыха на три основные группы. Слайд 3	Now let’s think of three main types of summer activities. What could they be? Давайте подумаем, в какие три основные группы можно рапределить все виды отдыха.	Учащиеся выделяют 3 группы проведения каникул и рапределяют термины в эти группы.	“physical activities,  educational activities, recreation activities”
4	Показывает 3 рекламных видеофайла для определения вида отдыха. Видео 1, 2, 3 Слайд 4 Доска (названия туров)	What types of activities are shown in the video? Какие из указанных нами видов отдыха рекламируются в данных видеоклипах?	У просматривают 3 видео, определяют, к какой группе и виду отдыха они относятся.	1. London Guided Tour - Educational holidays (Guided tour, Sightseeing, Package holiday). 2. Sochi Summer Trip - Physical holidays (Ecotourism, Camping, Hiking, Backpacking). 3. James Villa Holidays - Recreation holidays (Package holiday, Recreation)
5	Предлагает в группах продумать положительные и отрицательные стороны каждого вида проведения отпуска, заполнив таблицу на столе. Приложение 2	Now you see that we can spend summer time in different ways. What are the positive and negative features of each type? Мы обсудили много способов отдыха. Что же в каждом из них положительного и отрицательного? Напишите плюсы и минусы в таблицу, обсудив их в группе.	Пишут в таблицах  положительныке и отрицательные стороны каждого вида отдыха. Затем проговаривают их, дополняя друг друга.	Recreation holidays are good to relax and enjoy yourself without doing anything special. But on the other hand, it’s a passive way of spending time, and the person stays weak, it’s boring as there are not too many impressions. …….
6	Раздает учащимся по 2-3 записки, в которых выражаются интересы и желания туристов. Призывает выбрать место отдыха из просмотренных клипов, обоснуя свой выбор. Приложение 3	What are the goals of tourists? Could you, please, go to the blackboard? Here are some interests and aims of travel. Choose one of the suggested places to spend your summer according to what is written there. Be ready to speak of the reasons of your choice. Почему люди путешествуют, как вы думаете? Прошу всех выйти сюда, к доске. Вы получите листочки с пожеланиями и интересами. Ваша задача выбрать 1 вид отдыха из предложенных в рекламе и быть готовым обосновать свой выбор.	Получают листочки со «своими» желаниями и целями путешествия, объединяются в группы по месту отдыха. Продумывают и представляют обоснование своего выбора.	I have chosen Sochi Summer Trip as I want “To be close to nature” and “To challenge myself”. Backpacking is always challenging and you have to be strong-willed,  fearless and fit. ……
7	Дает домашнее задание. Приложение 4	So you have chosen where to go in summer. But you would like to  know more about the trip. 1)What will you do? 2) Will it be a formal or an informal letter? So your hometask will be to write an enquiry letter to the travel agent – the rules and task itself is on your desks. Итак, вы решили, куда поехать летом. Но все ли вы знаете про поездку? Если нет, что вы сделаете? Да, конечно, нужно написать турагенту. Какое это будет письмо: формальное или неформальное? Правильно, это официальное письмо в формальном стиле. В качестве домашнего задания я вам предлагаю написать письмо - запрос информацию. Каждый получает правила написания такого письма и рекламное объявление. Потренировать написание формального письма вы сможете также на указанном в документе сайте.	Отвечают на вопросы, слушают домашнее задание.	1) Write an email to ask for more information. 2) Formal.
8	Описывает возможную ситуацию для определения подходящего отдыха для группы подростков, предлагает обсудить и выбрать вид отдыха, наиболее подходящий для них. Приложение 5 (на доске)	Well, now I will tell you about a surprise: imagine that your class has got a grant to spend 10 days in summer in 1 of  these 3 places shown in the videos: London Tour, Sochi Summer Trip or James Villa Holiday. Look at the blackboard! Here is the description of the group. Discuss and choose the right rest for them. А сейчас сюрприз: представьте себе, что ваш класс выиграл грант на поездку.  Перед вами описание класса. Подумайте и решите, какой тур из предложенных вы выберете? Почему?	По описанию группы подростков (их физическое состояние и интересы) подбирают место отдыха из предложенных, аргументируя свой выбор. 9	Подводит итоги урока- оценки, обратная связь. Приложение 6 (смайлы)	I absolutely agree with your choice. Now I’d like to ask you about your feelings of this lesson. Я согласна с вашим выбором. Я уверена, что после работы с темой «Путешествие» вам будет легче определиться с летним отдыхом. Сегодня за работу на уроке оценки получают следующие ученики:….  А сейчас мне хотелось бы узнать ваше впечатление от урока: Red is “Great!” Yellow is “not bad” Green is “I would change it all”. Thank you! See you tomorrow!	Поднимают смайлы разных цветов: Красный – «мне очень понравилось». Желтый – «иногда мне было интересно». Зеленый – «я остался равнодушен к уроку, изменил бы его полностью».

Enquiry Letters

Introduction

Letters of enquiry describe what the writer wants and why. The more unusual the request, the more convincing the reason needs to be.

Content

Subject Heading

This should inform the reader that this is an enquiry or request; e.g.

·        Question regarding Product Components

First Paragraph

This should tell the reader what you want; e.g.

·        Please send me... (for things that the organisation offers to send)

·        I would be grateful if you could tell me... (for things that are not normally offered)

·        I am writing to enquire whether... (to see if something is possible)

·        I would especially like to know... ( + a more detailed request)

·        Could you also... ( + an additional enquiry or request)

Second Paragraph

This paragraph tells the reader why you are contacting his or her organisation, and gives further details of the enquiry.

There are two reasons why you may contact an organisation:

·         you have contacted this organisation before, and want to again.

·         you have not contacted this organisation before, but you have heard about them. You should describe from where, such as from an advert or a recommendation; e.g.

·         I saw your advert in the HK Daily on Wednesday, 7 February 2018.

·         Your company was recommended to me by Ms. Elsie Wong of Far Eastern Logistics.

Final Paragraph

This paragraph should contain a polite expression and/or an expression of thanks to the reader. The degree of politeness (and therefore the length), depends on how unusual or difficult your request is. Possible language includes:

·         Thanks. (For a very informal and normal enquiry or request)

·         I look forward to hearing from you.

·         I am looking forward to hearing from you.

·         Thank you for your assistance.

·         Thank you very much for your kind assistance.

·         I appreciate that this is an unusual request, but I would be very grateful for any help you could provide. I look forward to hearing from you.

If you think the reader might have further questions, you can suggest that he or she contact you; e.g.
