Задачи урока:
Образовательная:1. Совершенствовать навыки монологической
речи.
Развивающая: 1. Развивать у учащихся
прикладную направленность знаний.
2.
Развивать аудитивные навыки устной речи, коммуникативной интуиции.
Воспитательная: 1. Воспитывать культуру
учебного труда. 2.Воспитывать умение
отдыхать весело и с пользой. Сопутствующие задачи:
развивать умения восприятия и понимания иноязычной речи на слух, формировать
умения делать обобщения и выводы.
Формы организации обучения: индивидуальная, фронтальная.
Оснащение урока: мультимедийная установка, ноутбук, тематический наглядный
материал, презентации.

Good morning.
I’m glad to see you and I hope you are all fine & ready for the lesson. Now
I’d like you to guess a riddle. “If you lose it once you can never find it
again”. What do you think it is? (Leisure time) Right you are. So as you see
the topic of our today’s lesson is “ Leisure time in Belarus”.
And the aim
is to develop your listening and speaking skills and find out how people in
our country & you in particular spend your free time.

Before we start discussing the problem of leisure time in
Belarus, let’s revise what we know about free time. By the way, I went to the
theatre at the weekend & really enjoyed it. It was the first night of the
play . So how do you usually
spend your free time?
What leisure activities do you know? What are the most
popular activities in Belarus?
What are the most popular activities with teenagers in Belarus? How
do you understand the saying “Twice happy is the man who has a hobby”? Do you agree? If not, explain why.

You've been working
hard and now let's relax a little and do some exercises for your eyes and
head.
Close your
eyes. Count to 10. Open your eyes and blink. Look up, down, right and left
(2-3 times). Look at your nose, then at the blackboard (2-3 times).
Head up, down,
right, left slowly (4 times).
Let’s get
back to our topic. You know that there are different kinds of activities you
can do in your spare time. Your home task was to advertise one of the
activities you would recommend your classmates do in their leisure time.
But before we start listening to your projects I want you to watch a very
short video about a world famous man who you definitely know & his favourite
pastime activities. While listening to the video write down 5 expressions
which mean «увлекаться», they’ll help you to speak about
your leisure time.

Everybody knows that the Internet is a global computer network which embraces
hundreds of millions of users all over the world. It’s hard to imagine our life
without the Internet nowadays. It has become an important part of every
person’s life. It has totally changed everything. It’s used not only for
information but also for global communication. Since the time of Internet
appearance other media sources became unnecessary. One of the advantages of the
Internet is that you can find any information in five seconds. Just google it
& here is the answer. Sitting in front of a computer, clicking a mouse you
can shop, download many interesting films, books, read news, play games with
other players, chat & send e-mails to your friends. Nowadays the most
popular Internet service is e-mail. With the help of the Internet people from
different parts of the planet can communicate with each other & share
information without leaving home. However there are not only positive things to
say about the Internet. Unfortunately some people become dependent on it. They
live in the so-called virtual reality, forgetting about their everyday
responsibilities. A lot of teenagers spend a lot of time on the computer
spoiling their eyes. Another drawback is violence. Nevertheless every day
millions of people turn on their computers & start surfing the worldwide
net, because it’s the easiest & quickest way to stay informed. But
choosing to have the Internet in our life we must remember that too much
pudding will choke the dog. .
