Great Abay – great
nation
(an essay)
Abay (Ibrahim) Kunanbayev is a famous Kazakh poet,
philosopher, composer, educator. thinker, public figure, founder of the Kazakh
written literature and its first classic.
Abay was a genius, created magnificent examples of poetic
creation and spread his knowledge and talent in the nation. There most
different styles and manners of poetry, a form filing in Abay's works. Abay
knew all secrets of poetic skill. Therefore, his poems are perfect for ant
party. Nobody can find mistakes from his work. Some say "hard" words,
but this view has arisen because they were new in sound, form feed, significantly
different from the traditional forms, as soon as the reader becomes accustomed
to Abay innovation, everything all right.
He believed that first and foremost education and science,
are able to change the existing system. Abay's literary and aesthetic heritage
is the national pride of the Kazakh people. The city, streets, theaters,
libraries and other objects on the territory of Kazakhstan are named in honor
of Abay. The Kazakh state academic Opera and ballet theatre, the Kazakh
national pedagogical University in Almaty, the Central avenues of the cities of
Kazakhstan, the peak in the spur of the ridge or Alatau are named after Abay.
He is the greatest Kazakh poet and it's a great book in
many ways. Passages picturing the steppe, the way of life there are vivid and
tasteful. It's been my favorite winter reading since I was a kid. There is a
certain tribute to Communism, of course, but it's not the most important thing
about this epic. What matters is how you immediately connect with the
characters, the environment, what matters is beautiful poems, subtle humor and
drama and joy of life, of growing up and being a man way and becoming a legend.
Not so much as from the nomadic way of centuries to an
uncertain future. Lots of unresolved parts of the storyline, which I like ,
well life often does not get resolved - unlike in books. And a shorthand for
story, more a journey of a young man into adulthood and a country moving
because, understanding the spirit of the Kazakh people.
A great role in the formation of his personality and
creativity was played by friendship with Russian revolutionaries and acquaintance
with Russian culture. As avidly he read books that he was transported with
whole carts. Literature and art - this is a special place in the life of Abay. He
lives by them, he brings up new talents. His love of folk art is endless.
Interesting scenes are devoted to the translation of Abay's "Letters of
Tatiana" by Alexander Pushkin. Not only the translation of wonderful
Pushkin's lines revealing the depth of Tatiana's feelings was made, but also a
melodu new song, was created. Abay with this song expressed all the power of
his feelings for his beloued girl. Thus, the "Letter of Tatiana" has
acquired a new life it has become a favorite song of the Kazakh people.
He introduced Kazakh syllabic poetry which composed of equal
syllable length. Here we can see that he learned this from Russian poetry. He
did not just take this method and use it but made it suitable for his nation's
spirit. Knowing the two methods he used initial rhythm of Russian poetry
syllable stacking writing Kazakh zhyr and made a whole by uniting them with
Kazakh folklore of early times. As a result there are pioneering, appropriate
rhythm, rhyme, in other words a new form has appeared.
The name of Abay is known worldwide just as Shakespeare,
Goethe, and Pushkin are well- known in many countries, because his great words
became a spiritual patrimony of not only one nation, but of the entire
humankind. The legacy of the great thinker is not only a source of knowledge,
but also a source of education. In this transitional generation, so that the
younger generation could remain unscathed from the unfortunate cases they need
to worship of Abay.
May us be worthy of Abay's never to be forgotten memory! May
his genius never be dwindled!
