Тема: Мой дом - моя
крепость. Введение новых лексических единиц по теме.
Данный урок является
первым в системе уроков по теме «Британские дома». Помимо развития
коммуникативной компетенции, урок способствует формированию лингвострановедческой компетенции,
давая фоновые знания о различных домах в Великобритании.
Формы работы: фронтальная, парная.
I Организационный
момент. (2 мин.)
- Good morning, boys
and girls. I'm glad to see you today.

Sit
down, please.
- Who is on duty today?
What day is it today? What is the date? Who is absent?

What is the weather
like today? What do you like to do in such weather? Where do you stay at bad weather? (At home).

- Today at
our lesson we will discuss the English houses, learn several new words and decide if an Englishman's home is his castle.

- Look
at the smart board. There are several proverbs about home. Let's translate
them, read and learn.
East or West home is best (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше).
There is no place
like home (В гостях хорошо, а дома лучше).
An Englishman's home
is his castle (Мой дом - моя крепость).
IV Введение новых
лексических единиц. (8 мин.)

- Look
at the board, there are two words home and house. Translate them.
-What is the difference between them? Read the examples.
Home- the
place where you live or where you feel that you belong (принадлежишь).

Now it's time for the
types of houses. Take your dictionaries and write down new words. Look at the
smart board.
Types of houses in Great Britain:
A detached house [ditˊæʧt]- особняк, обособленно стоящий дом.
A semi-detached house [ˎsemiditˊætft]- дом,
имеющий общую стену с соседним домом.
A terraced house ['terəst]- дом ленточной
застройки, стоящий в ряду одинаковых домов с общими стенами.
Block of flats- многоквартирный дом.
A
castle [ka:sl]- замок.
A palace [pælis]- дворец.

- Now look at the smart board, there are
the definitions of types of houses. Guess the type
by the definition.

large building or a group of buildings with thick walls and towers. - A
castle.

The
official home of a ruler (правитель). - A palace.

A continuous row of
similar (ряд одинаковых) houses joined together in one block. — A terraced house.

large building divided into rooms. - A block of flats.

house joined to another house by one shared wall. - A semi-detached house.

- Look at the smart
board, there is a word - list:

a residential area [rezi'denʃəl]- район частных домов;
neighborhood

restaurant

- These words will
help you to understand the text.
- Now it's time to listen to the tape where the man will tell us
about the place where he lives.
Организация
прослушивания диалога из упр. 44, с 136 . Учебники во время
прослушивания должны быть закрыты. Задание для детей: прослушать диалог и
ответить не вопрос «Where does
the person live?».
- It's time to answer the question. (He
lives not far from the centre of London. He lives in the area called Bloomsbury. He lives near the Regent's Park).

- Let's continue listening to the dialogue
and compare your description with Mr
Philpott's description.
Учащиеся
слушают вторую часть диалога, выполняют задание упр. 46 с. 136 и отвечают на вопросы учителя. Во
время прослушивания учебники открыты.
- Does Mr Philpott live
in a big house?
- How many rooms has he
got?
- Has his family got a
garden?
- What can you see near his garden?
- Why is this area popular with tourists?
- Now
let's read the dialogue in pairs .
IX Первичный контроль лексических
навыков (7 мин.)
- Thank you for your
work.
- Now you will have a little test. I‘ll give
you shits of paper. Write down you name, surname and the number of your class.
- At your shits of paper you can see the
names of the types of houses
of Englishmen. Now at the smart board you will see the pictures of different
types of houses. Match the names of houses with their pictures.
