          Урок по английскому языку в 1 классе на тему «ColorsNumbers.   Animals».

Class: 1 “V”

Teacher : Vukkert Irina Valerievna.

Theme: Colors.  Numbers.   Animals.

Aim : to involve pupils in the world of English language.

Objectives :   - to revise and confirm the previous material, introduce new vocabulary.

                      - to enlarge pupil’s interest in learning English.

                      - to develop pupil’s creativity, kindness, memory, attention,imagination and positive emotions.

Resources: TV set, a tape-recorder, pictures, cards with the tasks, letter-cards, video-songs.

                                             Procedure of the lesson.

1.     Organization moment: T: Good morning children. I am glad to see you.

                                      P: Good morning teacher. We are glad to see you, too.

2.     Warm up exercises: T: How are you today? Let’s sing the song “Hello, how are you?”

(pupils sing the song and then say …)

P1 – I am hungry.    P2 – I am sad.  Etc.

3.     Phonetic drill: The teacher tells a story about  Mr. Tongue to the pupils and they repeat after the teacher.

4.     Introduction of the lesson:

            T: Dear pupils today we have some guests. Masha and a Bear came to us, too. (они появились из истории про мистера Язычка). They want to know if you know English. They brought some tasks to check you. Let’s see! But first let’s introduce yourself.

T : What is your name?

P1 – My name is … P2, P3, etc.

T: What is his (her) name?  P4 – His (her) name is … etc.

( the teacher asks some pupils different questions)

T: So. Now let’s sing the song “Hello, what’s your name?” (the pupils sing it)

T: OK. Well done. So the 1st task is numbers. Masha is very sad, she can’t put them in a correct order. Let’s help her. ( one pupil does it on the BB)

T: But pupils look at it. Two numbers are missing. Where are they? What numbers are missing? Let’s see.

Pupils answer and put them on the BB too.

T: Yes. You are right. Now let’s count.

T: well done. Masha is very interested how old you are. Let’s say.

How old are you?

P1 – I am seven.  P2 – I am six. Etc.

T:  Now let’s sing the song about numbers. ( the pupils sing the song)

T: Well done. Dear children look at the numbers again, they are colourful. Do you know the colours? Let’s see. Let’s say the colours.

( the pupils say the colours of the numbers orally)

T: What colour is number 1?

P1- It’s red. Etc.

T: Now your 2nd task is to match the word of the colour with the number with its colour.

( the pupils do it in pairs on the cards but one pupil does it on the BB)

T: Well done. Now tell us please what is your favorite colour? My favorite colour is

P1 - My favorite colour is … .  P2, P3, etc.

T: Now let’s sing the song about the colours. (the pupils sing it)

T: You’ve  sung very well. Now look at this BB. What is it? You are right. It’s an English alphabet.

First, let’s name the letters.

A  B  C  D  E  F  (the pupils name the letters)

T: Your next task is to find a pair. ( the pupils do it individually on the cards, one pupils does it on the BB)

T: So. Now tell   The letter is …

                         The sound is …

                         The word is …

(the pupils say and the teacher put the pictures on the BB)

T: Well done. Now your task is to match the letter and the word on the cards.

T: Let’s sing the song  “Apples and bananas

T: Well done. Now look at TV. There are some pictures. Let’s say.

What is it?

P1 – It’s a red and yellow ball. Etc ( the pupils describe the pictures on TV)

T: Masha and a Bear came to us with their friends. Let’s introduce with them. They are  a Dog, a Horse and a Hare.

T: Repeat after me.  Example: a dog, a brown dog, it’s a brown dog.

                                             a horse, a brown horse, it’s a brown horse.

                                             a hare, a whit hare, it’s a white hare.

T: They have a magic bag too. Let see what are there. You should choose one thing and say I have …

P1 – I have…  .   P2 – I have … .  etc.

T: Masha and a Bear are very glad. But they have to go home . Let’s say good bye.

( the pupils say good bye to them)

Hometask: The task is to colour the picture of the flower.

Conclusion: T: You’ve worked hard and were very active at the lesson. So I’ll give everybody excellent marks. The lesson is over. Good bye children.
