Цели:

  • систематизировать знания обучающихся по теме «Профессия твоей мечты»

  • нацелить обучающихся на отбор критериев при выборе профессии

  • ориентировать выпускников на правильный выбор будущей профессии

Задачи:

Обучающие: обобщить и закрепить лексический и грамматический материал секции с выполнением заданий по теме.

Развивающие: совершенствовать навыки обучающихся в аудировании, монологической и диалогической речи, чтении и письме

Воспитательные:

  • учить правильно оценивать свои способности;

  • принимать самостоятельные решения при выборе профессии;

  • содействовать профориентации выпускников.

Оборудование: учебник, рабочая тетрадь №1, раздаточный материал, презентация к уроку

Ход урока

I. Организационный момент.

1. Приветствие.

Good morning, girls! How are you? I’m glad to see you and our guests! They are young teachers from the nearest schools. Speaking about choosing a profession you have a chance to ask dear guests about their choices. Start, please!

Student 1: Morning! I’m Zu’hra. When did you decide to be a teacher?
St. 2: Hi! My name is Valentina. Who was an example for you?
St. 3: Nice to meet you! I’m Yazilya. What foreign languages do you know?
St. 4: My name is Helen. Do you like your profession? Why?
St. 5: I’m Tatiana. Are you a lucky teacher?

Well, girls! Thank you for your interest to the profession of a teacher. And our guests – for their answers!

2. Цели урока.

Today we are going to work on one of the most essential and troublesome topic “Choosing a profession” and check your knowledge.

We’ll speak about: well-known and modern professions, personal and professional qualities and skills, choosing a profession as an important step of your life.

Girls! Let’s review the proverbs to our topic. Do you remember them?

II. Основная часть

1. а) – Now girls we’ll go on with our work. Look at the blackboard! The proverb says: “He works best who knows his trade” What professions are these? (Приложение 1, слайд 4)

3. а) – Very good girls! And what about a profession of a freelancer? What is it? Lena and Valya have found useful information about this modern job from the Internet. The proverb says: “No time like the present” (“Лови момент”) Girls, it’s your time, please!

с) – Thank you for your info! Girls, have you been attentive? Then answer the classmates’ questions:

4. – Well, girls! I believe the info was useful for you and you can take it into account.

And what about your task: your riddles about any profession you like? Listen to your friends and guess! What are they? Who begins, please?

Afanasyeva Snezhana

  • To my mind, it’s a modern but an eternal profession. It’s considered to be interesting because a person works with pupils or students. On the other hand, it’s difficult because he or she has to teach them a foreign language. I think this profession means to be a highly educated person and to know a lot about foreign countries, their culture, traditions and customs. According to the proverb: “What is worth doing at all is worth doing well” /a teacher of a foreign language/

Sibagatullina Zu’hra

  • As far as I know, a person works not only in an editorial office but also communicates with people of different professions, religions and political views. He or she has to work for hours with a lot of documents writing articles or essays. The job of this kind requires a university degree, good knowledge of a native or a foreign language, of different spheres of people’s life and society. That’s why the person has to be educated, intelligent, well-rounded and communicative. I believe this job is hard but a very well-paid one. The motto of the professional might be “The business of life is to go forward” /a journalist/

Klimentyeva Valentina

  • I think a person who wants to be a specialist of this kind is eager to get a medical education. After that he works in a hospital and wears white clothes or a uniform. Day by day he takes care of his patients in order to treat them well. As for his personal features, he is very intelligent, professional, careful and considerate to people and especially to sick persons. To my mind, the main part of his duty is to go to the operating-room in order to help his patients to become healthy again. The proverb “He, who gains time, gains everything” is about such a kind of a specialist. / a surgeon/

5. – Well done! Girls! You know there are different personal and professional qualities of jobs. And what of these qualities suit to a teacher/ a journalist/ a surgeon? Name them, please!

imaginative, well-organised, creative, initiative, enthusiastic, responsible, competitive, persistent, inspirational, motivated, committed

Professional qualities or knowledge:
well-educated, professional, knowledgeable, able to work to tight deadlines, computer literate, able to work in a team, interpersonal skills, telephone skills, able to make decisions, able to solve problems, able to do research, negotiation skills, competent, able to cope with stress, able to take risks, self-employed, being your own boss

b) – Now girls let’s check your knowledge! Fill the forms of the words in the following table. The first row will do the first column, the second row – the third column. Be quick!

a) – Sit comfortably. Close your eyes. Breathe in. Breathe out.

Let’s pretend you are near the sea in a wonderful house.
You are sitting in a comfortable armchair. The weather is fine.
You have no troubles. No serious problems. You are quiet.
You are sure of yourself, you have much energy. You are in good spirits.

Open your eyes. How do you feel yourselves? Fine? Nice?

b) – Let’s look though the presentation of our school-leaver. What was a job of her dream?

1. – Well, girls! We’ve spoken about well-known and modern professions, personal and professional qualities and skills, choosing a profession from different points of view.

To sum up, let’s think about the actions you need to do in the 11-th form. What are your opinions?

St. 1: I think they are elective courses: Russian, Mari, English that we need to study hard.
St. 2: It’s important to know our wishes and abilities.
St. 3: Every year our former students tell us about the places where and how they study.
St. 4: There is much info about new jobs in the internet now.
St. 5: But the main thing for me is to pass our exams at school.

You are quite right, girls! These are the most essential things for you at this moment.
