Modern innovative technologies in education.
The
concept of "innovation" translated from Latin means "renewal,
innovation or change." This concept first appeared in research in the 19th
century and meant the introduction of some elements of one culture into
another. At the beginning of the 20th century, a new field of knowledge
emerged, innovation - the science of innovations, within the framework of which
the patterns of technical innovations in the sphere of material production
began to be studied. Pedagogical innovation processes have become the subject
of special study in the West since about the 50s and in the last twenty years
in our country.
Pedagogical
innovation is an innovation in pedagogical activity, changes in the content and
technology of teaching and upbringing, with the aim of increasing their
effectiveness.
The
innovation process consists in the formation and development of the content and
organization of the new. In general, the innovation process is understood as a
complex activity for the creation (birth, development), development, use and
dissemination of innovations. Innovation is a purposeful change that introduces
new stable elements into the environment, causing the system to transition from
one state to another. More details can be found on the website "school and study"
Thus,
innovation is a means (a new method, technique, technology, program, etc.), and
innovation is the process of mastering this means. You should also distinguish
between concepts such as "innovation" and "reform". Reform
is an innovation that is organized and carried out by the government.
Innovation is an innovation that is organized and carried out by workers in the
education system.
Innovation
activity in its most complete development involves a system of interrelated
types of work, the totality of which ensures the emergence of real innovations.
Namely:
●
research activities aimed at gaining new knowledge about how something can be
("discovery") and how something can be done ("invention");
●
project activities aimed at developing special, instrumental and technological
knowledge about how, on the basis of scientific knowledge, in given conditions,
it is necessary to act in order to get what can or should be (“innovative
project”);
●
educational activities aimed at the professional development of subjects of a
particular practice, at the formation of each personal knowledge (experience)
about what and how they should do so that an innovative project is embodied in
practice (“implementation”).
The
modern content that is passed on to students involves not so much the
development of subject knowledge as the development of competencies that are
adequate to modern business practice. This content should be well structured
and presented in the form of multimedia educational materials that are
transmitted using modern means of communication.
Modern
teaching methods are active methods of forming competencies based on the
interaction of students and their involvement in the educational process, and
not only on passive perception of the material.
A
modern training infrastructure, which includes information, technological,
organizational and communication components, which make it possible to
effectively use the advantages of distance learning.
At
the moment, a variety of pedagogical innovations are used in school education.
It depends, first of all, on the traditions and status of the institution. Nevertheless,
the following are the most characteristic innovative technologies.
In
this view, innovation is understood as the result of innovation, and the
innovation process is seen as the development of three main stages:
1)
generating an idea (in a certain case, a scientific discovery);
2)
development of an idea in an applied aspect;
3)
implementation of the innovation in practice.
That
is, the innovation process can be considered as a process of bringing a
scientific idea to the stage of practical use and the implementation of related
changes in the social and pedagogical environment. An activity that ensures the
transformation of ideas into innovation and forms a management system for this
process is an innovation activity. There are other characteristics of the
stages of development of the innovation process.
Innovations
in education are considered to be innovations specially designed, developed or
accidentally discovered through pedagogical initiative. The content of innovation
can be: scientific and theoretical knowledge of a certain novelty, new
effective educational technologies, made in the form of a technological
description, a project of effective innovative pedagogical experience, ready
for implementation.
It
is innovations (innovations), as a result of scientific research and advanced
teaching experience, that are the most optimal means of increasing the
effectiveness of education.
Innovation
activity is the development of innovations in educational institutions that can
lead to a change in the state of functioning and design of the development of
the educational system, its subsystems and links.
An
innovative approach to teaching or upbringing means the introduction and use of
pedagogical innovations in the educational process of an educational
institution.
Innovative
processes in education do not exist in isolation from each other, but interact
with each other. This tendency is due to the integration processes in science,
in the formation of the modern style of scientific thinking of a person and the
integration processes in education itself.
