T: Thank you for your project work and now let’s consolidate our previous lesson. First of all let’s revise the new words. This task for you.

T: Can you give us some information about some dangers for example: Global warming, Ozone layer , Deforestation , Acid rain.
P 1: Scientists say the temperature of the earth could rise over the next 50 years.
This may cause drought in some parts of the world, and floods in others, as ice at the North and South poles begins to melt and sea levels rise.Global warming is dangerous for our Earth .
P 2: The Ozone layer is a layer of gas high above the surface of the earth that helps to protect it from the sun’s radiation, which can damage our skins and cause cancer. Scientists have recently discovered holes in the Ozone Layer, it’s also very dangerous for us.
P3: Rainforests help to control global warming .In recent years, large area have been destroyed, as the trees are cut down for wood or burned to clear the land for farming. Many rainforests grow on poor soils, and when they are cut down or burned, the soil is washed a way in the tropical rains, so that the area may turn to desert. Many plant and animal species that live there could become extinct.
P4: Some poisonous gases dissolve in water in the atmosphere and then fall to the earth as acid rain. Acid rain also damages trees and buildings, and can kill fish in lakes and rivers.

Exchanging of ideas on theme: What can we do for the future?
P1: Electricity is a form of energy and this is what powers the TV, the kettle, dishwasher, hairdryer, toaster, remote control, mobile phone, fridge, stereo, electric toothbrush, mp3 player and more!
How to help: On or Off? Leaving televisions, stereos and computers on standby with the little red light showing still uses up electricity, even though they might look like they're turned off. To stop this you can turn them off at the wall. Simple!
Lights out! Turning lights off when you're not in the room (make sure no-one else is too!) can save a lot of energy.
Brrrr The fridge is an important part of the kitchen, it keeps food fresh, cool and healthy! But it takes a lot of energy to keep cool, so help it by not leaving the fridge door open or putting hot things inside.
P2: Rubbish. Let’s start with a fact. Every year the UK produces 280 million tonnes of waste.We throw away unwanted food, glass bottles, plastic bottles, cans,paper.
Many of these things are made up of natural resources such as trees, coal, oil and aluminium and one day some of these resources will be used up completely.
How to help: Sort it out! Save trees Save trees by recycling your own paper.
Fashion Statement Give any unwanted clothes to the homeless to keep them warm or alternatively
P 4: Water . Turn on the tap and there it is. Getting water is so easy that you’d be mistaken for thinking that there was an endless supply. But the world has a water shortage. 70% of the world is covered in water. But most of this water is salt water, leaving only a small percentage of fresh drinking water.
Countries including Spain, Italy, Peru, China and South Africa actually import water from exporting countries such as the US, Australia and Argentina
How to help:
Get your teeth into it We brush our teeth twice a day and by turning the tap off while we brush we can save 5-10 litres of water. If every adult in the world did this then we’d save enough water So, kids - let’s show them how it’s done!
Rain Gain Collecting rainwater in a water butt in your garden is a great way of collecting and reusing the water to keep plants healthy in the summer.
T: What should or shouldn’t we do for the future?
P1: We should stop testing nuclear weapons.
P2: We must plant more trees.
P3: We should clean water and rivers.
P4: We should clear rubbish from lakes and rivers.
P5: We need good filters at nuclear power stations, at factories and plants and also in cars and buses.

We must solve the ecological problems quickly as soon as possible.
