  Newspaper is a publication that presents and comments on the news. Newspapers play an important role in shaping public opinion and informing people of current events.

  Newspapers have always been one of the main sources of information.
  There are daily newspapers and weekly newspapers.
  Besides, there are such types of papers as gutter press, engaging in the private lives of celebrities, regional newspapers which contain news about particular local areas, national papers and tabloids dominated by sensational stories.

  The newspaper «Pobeda»
  This newspaper was published on the 14 of May,1945 for the first time. It was named after Victory of soviet people in Great Patriotic war.
  The first page was opened with official article about capitulation of Germany.

  At the beginning it was a small weekly sheet. The first aditor was Nestor Kozlovsky. Two persons printed the newspaper.
  Zinaida Chyornaya was only one and first printer – very responsible, loving her profession.
  House printing was located in the village of Pozharskoe.
  In a short time local people loved the newspaper.

  L. I. Zyatev became the editor of «Pobeda» in 1968. There were four employees that time.
  Journalists were I.I. Ryabkov, I.M. Smoleychuk, A.A. Losyakov, G.G. Grisha, I.P. Chetveric and others.

  Its head was an experienced printer Nikolay Sergeevich Kozhevnikov. He created discrict printing house.

  In front page was an article that told about the collective farm “22 January”.

  People and the heads of Pozharsky district helped the editorial office. They offered the main topics, gave advises to authors, came to the office to talk with journalists.
  The most popular were special columns: “News”, “Politics”, “Events”, “Sport”, “Nature and a person” and others.

  In 2020 the newspaper «Pobeda» celebrated 75th anniversary.
  The newspaper remained the best friend and adviser to the readers.
