(1910 – 1997) An Albanian Roman Catholic nun, who lived in India, where she helped the poor and the sick in the city of Calcutta. She won the Nobel Prize in 1979, and is seen as a typical example of someone who is very kind, unselfish, and morally good.
Mother Teresa took care of the poor people and showed the selfness love. It was a relationship of self-giving. Her love was not in the human heart only, but her love as self-giving was manifested.

Her organization “The missionaries of Charity” worked in 123 countries with 4.000 missionaries. prayed for people.
Awarding Mother Teresa the Peace Prize in 1979, the committee stated: “She promotes peace in the name of love in the most basic way, by fighting for human dignity in everyone”.
